 Key Accountabilities

 Conducts comprehensive research and analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather insights and data that inform strategic decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyzes the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) to develop a holistic view of the business environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Works with senior leadership to formulate the organization's strategic vision, mission, and goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Translates strategic objectives into actionable plans, initiatives, and projects that drive progress toward the desired outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops detailed implementation plans, timelines, and performance metrics to track the execution of strategic initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success of strategic initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors and track performance against established KPIs, analyzing variances and identifying areas for improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of strategic projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates with various departments to ensure alignment of strategies, goals, and initiatives across the organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitates communication and coordination between different teams to ensure smooth execution of cross-functional projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identifies and evaluates new business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion possibilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support decision-making on potential growth avenues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops scenarios and simulations to assess the potential impact of various internal and external factors on the organization's strategy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides insights into potential risks and opportunities associated with different strategic directions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in change management efforts related to strategic initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Helps teams adapt to new strategies, processes, and initiatives by providing necessary support and resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
 </li>
 <li>
 Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs any other relevant task as directed by Superintendent Planning &amp; Budgets Control.
 </li>

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
 
 
 
 Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and/or Experience
 
 
 
 12 years of experience in Finance field preferably in oil &amp; gas sector.
 
 
 Academic background includes a minimum of a bachelor&rsquo;s degree, in a relevant field.

 Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Assists in the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment and audit scope definition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts audit tests and procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of internal control.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and maintain audit workpapers, supporting documentation, and evidence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document findings, issues, and recommendations in clear and concise audit reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze financial and operational data to identify anomalies and potential areas of concern.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use audit software and tools to extract and analyze data efficiently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in the preparation of audit reports, summarizing findings and recommendations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with audit team members to review and finalize reports.
 </li>

 Certifications like CIA, CISA and CFE will be an added advantage.
