The role requires a combination of technical expertise and strong commercial acumen to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, preparing quotations, and ensuring the seamless execution of sales orders while providing technical support to clients. This position also involves close coordination with internal teams to meet client requirements.Key Responsibilities:1. Sales &amp; Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop new business opportunities in the Domjur region.Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.Generate leads through direct sales calls, customer visits, and networking.Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.2. Technical UnderstandingUnderstand and explain ARASPL GROUP&rsquo;s products/services, including technical specifications and benefits, to clients.Provide clients with technical solutions tailored to their business needs.Work closely with the technical team to ensure feasibility and meet client specifications.3. Quotation &amp; PricingPrepare and present accurate quotations based on customer requirements and specifications.Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and payment schedules with customers.Follow up on quotes and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.4. Client Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.Regularly visit client sites to understand their needs and provide solutions.Address client queries, concerns, and provide timely resolution.5. Order Processing &amp; CoordinationCoordinate with internal teams (technical, operations, accounts) for order execution.Ensure timely delivery of products and services, meeting quality and timeline expectations.Prepare reports, track sales performance, and ensure sales targets are met.6. Job Description: Sales Coordinator (Steel Industry &amp; Tendering)Location: Domjur, Howrah Department: Sales / Marketing / Tendering Industry Preference: Candidates with strong experience in the Steel Industry and Tender Submission ProcessContact Person: Priyanka JainContact No: 8100022170Position Overview:The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the sales team by managing tender submissions, preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring smooth communication with customers. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of steel products, industry standards, and tender documentation procedures.Key Responsibilities:1. Tendering &amp; Proposal Management:<ul><li>Identify tender opportunities through online portals, client communication, and market sources.</li><li>Study tender documents thoroughly and prepare eligibility checklists.</li><li>Coordinate with Sales, Technical, QC, and Accounts teams for required documents, pricing inputs, and approvals.</li><li>Prepare and submit complete tender documents including technical bid, commercial bid, BOQ, compliance statements, and supporting certificates.</li><li>Maintain a record of submitted tenders and track status until finalization.</li><li>Handle re-submission, corrigendum updates, and clarification responses.</li></ul>2. Sales Coordination &amp; Support:<ul><li>Assist Sales Managers with order processing, follow-ups, and client communication.</li><li>Prepare quotations, offers, and sales proposals as per customer requirements.</li><li>Coordinate order execution by aligning with production, dispatch, and logistics teams.</li><li>Maintain and update customer databases, sales trackers, and MIS reports.</li></ul>3. Industry-Specific Knowledge:<ul><li>Strong understanding of steel grades, material specifications, standards (IS/ASTM/EN), weight calculations, and sizes.</li><li>Ability to interpret BOQs, technical drawings, material requirements, and tender specifications.</li><li>Awareness of market pricing trends, competitor information, and customer requirements.</li><li>Understanding of mill test certificates (MTC), QA/QC documents, and compliance requirements.</li></ul>4.
