</b></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Summary</b></h2><p>
Prices assigned departmental merchandise to receive maximum value. Maintains merchandise on the sales floor. Ensures an adequate supply of seasonal merchandise by sorting out-of-season merchandise. Reports directly to assistant store manager or the he Store Manager</p><p>
</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li>
Achieves assigned department&rsquo;s sales targets by:<ul><li>
Reviewing department sales targets weekly with the store manager and supervisor,</li><li>
Maintain target price per item,</li><li>
Using the price grid as a guideline in departments.
</li></ul></li><li>Supplies the store with merchandise by sorting, hanging, and pricing donations for assigned departments.</li><li>
Displays merchandise in designated area(s) on the sales floor.</li><li>
Supplies a sufficient quantity (according to performance standards) of merchandise daily to assigned departments.</li><li>
Assures the production department is clean and materials are stocked.
</li><li>Adjusts merchandise prices up or down to achieve maximum value, when merchandise is not selling, or is selling to quickly.</li><li>
Keeps sales floor shoppable by ragging, balancing, and rotating seasonal merchandise.</li><li>
Ensures an adequate supply of seasonal merchandise by recognizing seasonal merchandise, placing it in storage boxes and properly labeling the storage boxes.</li><li>
Assists with customer&rsquo;s service.</li><li>
Performs other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments which may be outside the [primary area of employment.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Knowledge, Skill and Ability</p><ul><li>
Knowledge of styles and trends.</li><li>
Ability to identify merchandise quality and price it competitively.</li><li>
Ability to assess merchandise required for assigned departments.</li><li>
Ability to work as a productive member of a team.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Education and/or Experience Required</b></h2><ul><li>
Experience working with a diverse workforce.
</li><li>Ability to work with individuals possessing developmental disabilities.</li><li>
Ability to use good judgment.</li><li>
Energy to take on fast-paced work.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Good listener.</li></ul><p>

</b></h5><p></p><ul><li>Works inside in a production and retail environment.</li><li>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, stand and move throughout the store.</li><li>
Use upper body strength to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.</li><li>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to dust from donations.</li><li>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, bending and stooping and occasionally walking.</li><li>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift the arms shoulder height or above.
</li><li>While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to push or pull clothing racks weighing up to 15 pounds.</li></ul><p>
