Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Drawings Specialist to join our Wayfinding &amp; Environmental Graphics Design team. As a Technical Drawings Specialist, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed technical drawings, signage location plans, and specifications for wayfinding and signage projects. Your expertise will help ensure the accurate production, installation, and maintenance of signage systems across a variety of environments, including commercial, healthcare, education, transport, and public spaces.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Develop sign location plans, message schedules, and graphic layouts in coordination with project teams.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and installation plans for interior and exterior signage and wayfinding solutions using CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Revit).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Translate design concepts and architectural plans into fabrication-ready drawings with accurate dimensions and materials specifications.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Work closely with designers, project managers, fabricators, and installation teams to ensure clarity and feasibility of technical drawings.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinate with architects, engineers, and client representatives to integrate signage solutions with building infrastructure and codes.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review and verify technical drawings for accuracy, compliance with project requirements.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Revise drawings based on feedback from internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain organized drawing files, version control, and project documentation.</li></ul> 


Requirements:
<ul><li>Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.</li></ul>
<ul><li>4/5 years of experience in technical drawing, drafting, or similar role&mdash;preferably in signage, wayfinding, architecture, or related industries.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required; Revit, or similar a plus).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and installation techniques for signage.</li></ul>

 Role accountabilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Support air quality and noise teams in the UK delivering projects and bids. You will be expected to support the delivery of these projects including tasks to deliver projects including undertaking desktop baseline assessments, managing large datasets, analysis of air quality monitoring and noise monitoring data. Experience of noise and air quality modelling is desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in the delivery of project-related tasks to meet budget, time-frame and quality targets, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to support the wider global business if required due to workload.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support on the completion of air quality and noise assessments
 </li>
 <li>
 Data analysis, manipulation and interpretation
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparation of technical reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Modelling using air quality and noise modelling software
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting with the preparation of proposals, bids and marketing material
 </li>
 <li>
 Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time

 Qualifications &amp; Experience:

 Experience in using GIS software, such as Arc, QGIS, Google Sketchup

 High level of proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Access and Word

 Experience of Acoustic modelling in Proprietary Software&rsquo;s including SoundPLAN, CADNA&rdquo;A&rdquo;, IMMI, NoiseMAP, Predictor, Odeon, INSUL
 </li>
 <li>
 UK Experience is Mandatory

 Experience of in Air Quality modelling in Proprietary Software&rsquo;s including ADMS Roads and AERMOD

 This role will form a core part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) &ndash; Arcadis&rsquo; centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3,000 talented individuals working in offices across India, Romania and Philippines, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses.
 
 
 Advanced Process Manufacturing within the GECs is comprised of cross-functional teams, that contribute to the design &amp; development of innovative process engineering solutions in Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor &amp; Process industries. Our ability to effectively manage projects, assess client needs, and provide technical guidance is crucial in delivering successful outcomes, using the most innovative way of doing computational design.
 
 
 
 Your Role will include, but not limited to:

 Preparation of plant equipment layouts, process flow diagrams, equipment sizing &amp; P &amp; IDs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparation of Specifications &amp; data sheets, for Process Equipment, Utility Equipment Warehouse Equipment etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with OSD projects, (Tablet, Capsule manufacturing), facility design, equipment involved in OSD facilities, like Granulator, FBD/FBP, compression, Coaters etc
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of equipment such as, Blister packing, Bottles packing lines, secondary packing lines, track &amp; trace. Palletisers etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Small (Ampoule, Vial, PFS etc) &amp; large Volume Parenteral Facility design.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of equipment such as, Ampoule/Vail washers, dehydrogenation tunnels, filling machines, isolators, Autoclaves, inspection machine, secondary packing machines
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of instrumentation Control requirement &amp; Preparation of plant process control Philosophies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide required process input to Instrumentation team for instrument process data sheets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop documentation, diagrams, and specifications to meet project requirements and compliances with regulatory standards and guidelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in project reviews to enable ongoing status tracking and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare &amp; review project documents i.e. DQ, IQ, OQ &amp; PQ Qualifications, FAT/SAT protocol &amp; reports etc.

 Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in Process designing.

 Adhering to cGMP guidelines and work as per Arcadis SOP/Work instructions.

 Qualification
 
 
 
 
 Mandatory:

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering [Chemical (Preferred)/Mechanical]
 </li>
 <li>
 An experience as process engineer in design engineering consultancy environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 4-12 years of experience as a process engineer in a design consultancy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of process analysis &amp; process modelling.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
