KEY INFORMATION ON THE ROLEPosition TitleProjects ManagerDepartment/UnitProjectsSECTION I: JOB PURPOSEThe Projects Manager is responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of Arclight Services Company&rsquo;s assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved quality, safety, and regulatory standards.The role manages the full project lifecycle &mdash; from master plan and design coordination and follow up with the assigned consultants, support for all municipality and agencies approvals, lead the construction tendering processing, planning and control through construction projects phases till handover and close-out &mdash; for education facilities, residential buildings, infrastructure, and interior fit-out projects. The Projects Manager works closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, cost control, and compliance with UAE regulations.This role is primarily operational and delivery-focused, ensuring that project objectives are met while supporting the CEO with reporting, risk management, and performance updates.SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities:1. Project Planning &amp; Delivery Management<ul><li>Plan, manage, and deliver assigned projects in line with approved schedules, budgets, and scope.</li><li>Prepare detailed project execution plans, timelines, and budget/cost estimates.</li><li>Monitor design and construction work progress and implement corrective actions where delays or deviations occur.</li><li>Ensure coordination between design, procurement, and construction activities.</li></ul>2. Design Coordination &amp; Pre-Construction<ul><li>Coordinate with consultants and internal teams during concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.</li><li>Review design submissions for compliance with project requirements and standards.</li></ul>&middot; Coordinate with end users for sign off on the<ul><li>Support feasibility studies, space planning, and technical reviews.</li><li>Ensure design approvals are obtained from relevant authorities.</li></ul>&middot; Work on project costing and budget for each stage of the design stages3. Technical &amp; Engineering Oversight<ul><li>Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, ICT, and ELV disciplines.</li><li>Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations (ADM, DMT, Civil Defense, Estidama, LEED).</li><li>Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews</li></ul>4. Cost Control &amp; Procurement Support<ul><li>Assist in preparing project budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates.</li><li>Track project expenditures and forecast final project costs.</li><li>Support tendering, technical evaluations, and contractor selection processes.</li><li>Monitor variations, claims, and cost impacts and report deviations.</li></ul>5. Construction Management &amp; Site Oversight<ul><li>Oversee construction activities and site performance.</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors to resolve technical and operational issues.</li><li>Monitor key milestones, inspections, testing, and handover processes.</li></ul>6. Risk &amp; Compliance Oversight<ul><li>Identify project risks and propose mitigation measures.</li><li>Ensure adherence to contract conditions and authority requirements.</li><li>Support claims management, dispute resolution, and contractual correspondence.</li><li>Maintain project documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.</li></ul>7. Stakeholder Relations &amp; Government Liaison<ul><li>Act as the main point of contact with end users, consultants, contractors, and vendors for assigned projects.</li><li>Coordinate with authorities for permits, inspections, and approvals.</li><li>Liaise with internal departments and end users to ensure project requirements are met.</li></ul>8. Required Education, Experience &amp; Skills:&sect; High School Diploma or higher&sect; Proven experience in a similar role&sect; Ability to use hand and power tools painting equipment&sect; Good color vision; ability to differentiate between colors.Main Objective:&sect; To hold responsibility for all paint related works on the interior and exterior of structures, buildings, and other surfaces and to ensure the attainment of both practical and aesthetic benefits of painting.Duties &amp; Tasks:&sect; Comprehend blueprints, work orders and instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.&sect; Perform all general maintenance and renovation assignments related to the painting trade; carry out repairs to different surfaces such as wood, plaster, drywall, etc.&sect; Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.&sect; Conduct a regular inspection to examine and maintain painted exterior and interior surfaces, trimming and fixtures; inspect and refurbish surfaces by means of the appropriate materials.&sect; Perform the necessary process in preparation of surfaces before the application of paint such as removing the previous paint by means of sandblasting, scraping, sanding, hydro-blasting and steam-cleaning.&sect; Maintain a clean and safe work environment &minus; follow established protection procedures and adhere to health and safety precautions; and clean up job site after work and return equipment and tools.&sect; Perform other related duties assigned by the management.&sect; Ensures compliance to systems, processes and procedures.&sect; Provide weekly and monthly reports to Team Leader.Job Type: Full-time
