We are currently looking for Quantity Surveyor for our Firm.Quantity SurveyorScope of work: Preparation of Tenders / Quotations, Preparation of Bill of Quantities, Preparation of Estimates and Budgets, Preparation of Lump Sum Contracts, Preparation of Variation Orders, Negotiations with Material Manufactures &amp; Suppliers (Local &amp; International), Preparation of Material Price Comparisons, Finalizing of Material Prices &amp; Procurement Schedule &amp; Preparation of Material Demands.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related document.</li><li>Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.</li><li>Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information</li><li>Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.</li><li>Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.</li><li>Maintain cost data base, floating enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.</li><li>Analyze and compare quotations received at bid stage and clarifying exclusions/qualifications within.</li><li>Attend progress meetings and provide updates to the Client with projection of costs as required; Visit Site as and when required to monitor the dimensions, Preparing Payment Application / progress payment claim against Value of Work done for measured works, Variations/Change orders, Material On-Site/Off-Site, Fluctuations, Special payments in accordance with contract.</li></ul>Skills Required:Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in QS or equivalentExperience: Technically oriented professional with good experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Interior Fit-out industry. Having experience in material handling, estimation and procurement will be an added advantageOther:<ul><li>Excellent abilities in MS Office especially excel</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Organized, self-motivated, and creative</li><li>Team player with a positive attitude to go the extra mile</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeSalary: AED3,500.00 &ndash; 4,000.00 per monthPreferably for Philippine (Driving license would be a plus point).Job Type: Full-time
