</b></div><div>Arconic is currently in search of Maintenance Machinist-Mechanic to join our Cranberry Township, PA. location. This position works an 8-hour shift (7a &ndash; 3p) on a Mon-Fri pattern.

<br><div><p><b>Primary Responsibilities<br>

</p><ul><li><p>Set up, operate, and maintain lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses to shape metal or plastic parts.
</p></li><li><p>Perform machining parameters adjustments as modification of feed rates, speeds to optimize surface finish and extend tooling life.
</p></li><li><p>Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, straight edges, feller gages, and scales.
</p></li><li><p>Read blueprints and drawings, create sketches of parts.
</p></li><li><p>Following engineering plans, drawings, and instructions.
</p></li><li><p>Maintain machine shop equipment.
</p></li><li><p>Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
</p></li><li><p>Ensure the machines are in proper working condition and address any issues that may arise during the machining process.
</p></li><li><p>Perform machining repairs to damaged parts or duplicate using manually controlled machine shop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, cutters and hand tools.
</p></li><li><p>Perform preventative maintenance (PM), inspections, and breakdown repairs with mechanics on production equipment.
</p></li><li><p>Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical drive systems such as belts, pulleys, motors, chains, sprockets with minimal assistance.
</p></li><li>Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
</li><li>Rebuild centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
</li><li>Repack and rebuild cylinders.
</li><li><p>Identify and look up parts in EAM maintenance CMMS program.
</p></li><li><p>Learn to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding work accomplishments and findings.
</p></li><li><p>Participate in morning meetings, perform safety system requirements, log work hours and comments on work orders in EAM maintenance software.</p></li></ul></div>
<br><div><p><b>Basic Qualifications<br>

</p><ul><li><p>Must be eligible to work in the United States of America. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
</p></li><li><p>Technical school training in machining and minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience as a machinist.
</p></li><li><p>Good math and analytical abilities.
</p></li><li><p>Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn how machines function.
</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting at least 50 pounds.
</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform welding is a plus.</p></li></ul></div>
