<div>Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is searching for a CAD Designer/Drafter that will be based in our Ashland City, TN plant.

Arcosa&rsquo;s Inland Barge Group is comprised of Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What You&rsquo;ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Primarily detail piping system designs for tank (liquid cargo) barges</li>
<li>Secondary hull / structural designs for tank (liquid cargo), hopper, deck, and dock barges</li>
<li>Utilize Ship constructor and AutoCAD in addition to Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word)</li>
<li>Upgrade 2D drawings to 3D models per company standards</li>
<li>Create 3D models (for piping, structural/hull) in a detail package using ShipConstructor</li>
<li>Creating and updating Construction Drawings for release to production</li>
<li>Creating and updating Shop Drawings for release to production</li>
<li>Creating and updating shop bills for release to production</li>
<li>Revising linework, references, notes, and callouts based on redline markups</li>
<li>Work is office-based, using computer drafting technology and software, spreadsheet software, and electronic communication daily</li>
<li>Coordinate with and consult with peers to design, layout, or detail complex components and resolve design of other problems</li>
<li>Gather information from contract specifications, earlier projects, and production capabilities to produce detailed designs and construction drawings and BOMs</li>
<li>May occasionally need to visit production areas to troubleshoot construction problems and offer solutions</li>
<li>Ability to travel, if needed. Travel is estimated at &lt;10%</li>
</ul>
 What You&rsquo;ll Need:
<ul>
<li>3+ years&rsquo; experience with AutoCAD</li>
<li>Computer Aided Drafting on assigned projects utilizing AutoCAD 2023</li>
<li>Experience with ShipConstructor</li>
<li>Computer Aided Drafting with 3D software on assigned projects utilizing ShipConstructor 2023 (Preferred)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and additional Microsoft products</li>
<li>Ability to read &amp; understand Marine Structural documentation (blueprints)</li>
<li>Complete high paced assignments through effective prioritization, scheduling, planning and execution of assigned work</li>
