The Senior Staff Accountant ensures all revenue, banking, accounts payable, and cost-related activity is recorded, analyzed, and reported in an accurate and timely manner. This role leverages both traditional accounting methods and emerging <b>AI-driven finance tools</b> (particularly for <b>Accounts Payable automation, invoice matching, and fraud detection</b><b>)</b> to improve efficiency and accuracy. You will be a key member of the Finance &amp; Accounting Team who supports the company&rsquo;s reporting needs, ensures compliance with GAAP, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Banking activity.</li><li>
Lead the integration and use of AI tools to automate invoice processing, expense categorization, vendor matching, and cash flow forecasting.</li><li>
Perform daily reconciliation of multiple company bank accounts.</li><li>
Oversee all aspects of the Accounts Receivable process, collections, and revenue analysis.</li><li>
Assist with Accounts Payable workflow automation to ensure timely vendor payments and efficient three-way matching.</li><li>
Complete month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.</li><li>
Provide financial commentary and variance explanations on monthly reporting packages.</li><li>
Identify and implement process improvements using AI and automation to reduce manual effort and error rates.</li><li>
Assist the Controller with successful annual audit completion.</li><li>
Cross-train with other Finance &amp; Accounting team members to enhance support and scalability.</li><li>
Maintain and update SOPs for assigned accounting functions.</li></ul><div><b>
Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting (Master&rsquo;s desirable).</li><li>
4&ndash;6 years of experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.</li><li>
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (NetSuite strongly preferred).</li><li>
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SumIfs, etc.).</li><li>
Experience with or exposure to <b>AI-based financial automation platforms</b> (e.g., Bill.com, Tipalti, Stampli, or NetSuite AI functions).</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of GAAP.</li><li>
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.</li><li>
High level of integrity, accountability, and problem-solving ability.</li><li>
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills</li><li>
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities</li><li>

Hands-on, team-oriented, and energetic individual who is open to interaction with other employees within the organization and who can provide additional administrative support as needed</li><li>
4-6 years of General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience in an office setting</li><li>
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Accounting</li><li>
Proficient in NetSuite</li><li>
Strong analytical mindset</li><li>
Experience or proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks</li><li>
Strong Excel and Word skills</li><li>
Works well under moderate supervision</li><li>
Ability to follow established company processing procedures</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
