Job Title: Design Project Manager &ndash; Technical Office (Engineering Consultancy) Location: Cairo, EgyptImportant Note (Mandatory Requirement):<ul><li>Candidate must be an Architect with real, hands-on experience in Dubai, having worked physically in Dubai on consultancy-based design projects.</li><li>Back-office, remote, or site/contractor experience will not be considered.</li><li>Only candidates with Dubai consultancy technical office experience (design coordination, authority submissions, multidisciplinary review) will be reviewed.</li></ul>Job Summary: A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Design Project Manager (Architect) to join its Technical Office in Cairo. This role requires extensive experience managing Dubai-based projects from the design side &mdash; within consultancy firms, not contractors &mdash; with proven knowledge of UAE authority systems and project delivery processes.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and manage the technical design process for multidisciplinary projects.</li><li>Supervise preparation and coordination of all design drawings (architectural, structural, MEP).</li><li>Ensure full compliance with Dubai authority regulations (DM, DEWA, DDA, Trakhees, EHS, Civil Defense, etc.).</li><li>Handle NOC processes, submission follow-ups, and authority approvals.</li><li>Coordinate with BIM and CAD teams for quality control and timely delivery.</li><li>Report to senior management on project design status and milestones.</li><li>Manage technical documentation across all project stages.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Architecture.</li><li>20&ndash;25 years of experience in engineering consultancy, with a strong Dubai portfolio.</li><li>In-depth understanding of UAE design codes and local authority procedures.</li><li>Technical leadership in consultancy-based environments (not contracting).</li><li>Proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, MS Project, Excel, Word.</li><li>Fluent in English and Arabic.</li><li>PMP certification is a plus.</li><li>Immediate availability is preferred.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: E&pound;100.00 - E&pound;200.00 per monthWork Location: In person
