Job OverviewArgee Corporation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Accounts Support Specialist to join our team in Santee, CA.This role is essential to our daily operation while supporting accounting and administrative functions.If you are organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform Accounts Payable &amp; Receivable tasks and process bank deposits</li><li>Prepare and send outgoing mail</li><li>File invoices, bills, and other important documents</li><li>Match packing slips with payable invoices</li><li>Review freight bills and coordinate with the freight department on discrepancies</li><li>Assist with check runs and basic accounting processes</li><li>Handle discrepancies including shortages, defectives, and credits</li><li>Provide Certificates of Insurance and banking information to customers as needed</li><li>Manage Home Depot shortage chargebacks</li><li>Set up new customers, vendors, and employees in MAS 90 software</li><li>Assist with payroll (review timecards and process payroll)</li><li>Reconcile credit card statements and allocate to GL codes</li><li>Mas 90 /Sage Software</li><li>Order some office supplies and maintain stock, including safety cabinet supplies</li><li>Answer and manage incoming customer calls in a professional manner</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous administrative and/or accounting support experience preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Comfortable multitasking and managing priorities</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Experience with accounting software (MAS 90/Sage preferred) is a plus</li><li>Basic knowledge of accounts receivable, invoicing, and payroll processes</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li></ul>Why Join Argee Corporation?<ul><li>Supportive, team-oriented environment</li><li>Stable part-time schedule (20 hours/week)</li><li>Opportunity to grow your skills in both administrative and accounting functions</li></ul>Schedule Part-time, approximately 20 hours per weekPay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
