Supports the Human Resources Team with a variety of procedures, projects and tasks.
In this role, the successful candidate:
<ul><li><ul><li> Responsible for all data entry into the HRIS system including new hires, terminations, salary, personnel changes, transfers, promotions, and other information.</li><li> Processes status changes and ensures proper approval is acquired.</li><li> Explains human resources programs, policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees as needed.</li><li> Facilitates onboarding, and orientation.</li><li> Assists as directed with the Performance Management cycle.</li><li> Prepares, maintains and manages confidential employee records and files.</li><li> Reviews personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.</li><li> Maintains safeguards for confidential company information.</li><li> Reviews all new hire paperwork for accuracy and ensures that all necessary forms have been received, and completed.</li><li> Reviews, manages and audits the Federal form I-9 and complete the I-9 checklist to reflect all corrections necessary.</li><li> Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.</li><li> Processes Employment Verification requests.</li><li> Works on special projects.</li><li> Assists recruiting in phone screening, job postings, reviewing resumes and performing reference checks, and assisting with recruiting, etc.</li><li> Informs job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.</li><li> Addresses any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations.</li><li> Assists with completing background investigations.</li><li> Conducts training sessions as needed.</li><li> Maintains records of employee participation in all training and development programs.</li><li> Writes job descriptions as needed.</li><li> Oversees engagement programs and other employee relations work.</li><li> Other duties as assigned</li></ul></li></ul>
