Argus Construction Services is looking for an exceptional individual to fill an office-based Billing Specialist/Administrative Assistant position.The Billing Specialist/Administrative Assistant will support the Las Vegas-based Argus team by performing Accounts Payable &amp; Accounts Receivable tasks and performing clerical duties. Responsibilities will include:&middot; Preparing and submitting monthly invoices and billing documentation including AIA Pay Applications, conditional &amp; unconditional waivers, etc.&middot; Identifying, investigating, and resolving billing discrepancies and errors&middot; Record-keeping and tracking of customer PO funding and balances&middot; Processing payments&middot; Processing client releases through SupplyPro and similar portals&middot; Maintaining accurate client records&middot; Monitoring aging reports and following us on outstanding invoices.&middot; Generating financial reports&middot; Answering or responding to phone calls and fielding client questions&middot; Collaborating with other departments to maximize efficiency and accuracy&middot; Participating in special events and projects as needed.Minimum Requirements:&middot; Thorough understanding and proficiency with QuickBooks Online&middot; Expertise in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable practices&middot; Ability to maintain accurate financial records&middot; Effective computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook&middot; Proficiency in creating and interpreting financial reports&middot; High school diploma or GED equivalent&middot; Experience with billing platforms such as ProCore, Textura, GCPay, SupplyPro, etc., preferredSuccessful applicants will:&middot; Have strong personal integrity, take initiative, and exhibit accountability, flexibility, and professionalism&middot; Exhibit a positive, friendly, helpful attitude to clients and coworkers&middot; Be efficient, proactive, and capable of independent problem solving&middot; Be reliable, consistent, and dedicated to personal growth and the success of the company&middot; Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent documentation and organizational skills&middot; Be great at multi-tasking and express willingness to contribute wherever needed&middot; Have strong written and verbal communication skills&middot; Commit to handling sensitive information with complete confidentialityBenefits:&middot; 401(k) matching up to 4%&middot; Medical insurance&middot; Paid Time Off and major holidays observed&middot; Professional development opportunities&middot; Positive company culture that values hard work and exceptional client serviceThis office-based position is full-time Monday-Friday, and remote work is not possible.
