The Position
We&rsquo;re looking for an Account Manager who would enjoy working for a company that makes a difference in the geriatric population&rsquo;s lives in communities across the nation. The primary function of this position is to provide excellent customer service, retention of existing accounts, and insurance sales.<ul><li>
Retention of existing facilities: Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits &ndash; at a minimum once per quarter; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.</li><li>
Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing quality and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.</li><li>
Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.</li><li>
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</li><li>
Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with marketing department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.</li><li>
Plans meetings and attends trade shows</li><li>
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential</li></ul>
The Location
The Account Manager position is a remote position that includes a combination of field days and home office days. This role REQUIRES overnight travel and the individual MUST reside within the territory.
Requirements:
<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>
3-5 Years previous applicable experience</li><li>
Preferred prior work experience within senior living communities, sales, and life/health insurance</li><li>
Ability to obtain health and life insurance license</li><li>
Reliable transportation</li><li>
Ability to Lift Up to 50 Pounds</li><li>
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.</li></ul>
Other Qualifications<ul><li>
Preferred skills - experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li><li>
Problem solving skills - strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify problems and develop innovative solutions.</li><li>
Customer service - responds promptly to requests for assistance and strives to continually improve service.</li><li>
Planning/organizing - the ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure that assignments are completed in a timely and productive manner.</li><li>
Quality control/Attention to detail - demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.</li><li>
Adaptability - adapts to changes in the work environment and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.</li><li>
Dependability - consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, takes responsibility for own actions, responds to management direction.</li><li>
Efficiency - the ability to visit required number of weekly visits in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.</li><li>
Teamwork - Able to work in team environment.</li><li>
Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Education of Aria Care Partners&rsquo; mission &amp; services to potential facilities.</li><li>
Currently possess a life/health insurance license or the ability to successfully complete the licensing course and exam.</li><li>
Territory management &ndash; the ability to plan weekly travel throughout the state to visit with nursing home staff and residents.</li><li>
Daily Travel with potential for 75% overnight stay.</li></ul>
