<div>Description:
<ul><li> The Clinical Research Recruitment Specialist will identify and implement strategies and tactics to identify and recruit research participants. The Recruitment Specialist works independently with limited supervision by the Director and ensures that patient recruitment strategies and tactics are practical, experience based and cost effective.</li></ul> 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Learn and understand the currently enrolling clinical trials at AARR</li><li>
Interpret the inclusion and exclusion criteria and use them to identify potential participants for the studies in all 11 offices</li><li>
Submit approval to contact to the potential participant&rsquo;s attending physician</li><li>
Contact patients on the phone and in-office to determine eligibility and interest in a clinical trail</li><li>
Manage patient database</li><li>
Schedule patients for screening visits</li><li>
Navigate and utilize Electronic Medical Record System for medical chart reviews</li><li>
Track patient contact and recruitment sources on Clinical Conductor system</li><li>
Complete chart review tracking logs from submission to trial sponsor</li><li>
Develop written recruitment plan for each clinical trial with the study team</li><li>
Create and submit marketing proposals</li><li>
Create and utilize IRB approved phone screening scripts</li><li>
Work with Marketing Strategist to collect and report recruitment metrics</li><li>
Assist in all ongoing recruitment efforts, which may include but are not limited to: community outreach, fundraisers, office campaigning, lunch and learns, mailers, brochure labeling, and stocking of recruitment supplies in each office.</li><li>
Manage the recruitment process and initiates all efforts to align with FDA, ICH/GCPs and IRB requirements</li><li>
May perform additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor</li></ul>
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Bachelors Degree</li><li>
Strong communication and phone skills</li><li>
Strong medical terminology required</li><li>
Previous experience in clinical research and/or rheumatology preferred</li></ul></div>

 The Research Nurse (RN) reports to the Director of Research and is responsible for overseeing and managing assigned unblinded protocols in compliance with FDA CFR, GCP and company SOPs. The RN will be the primary point person for all urgent support needs from the unblinded staff for local and out-of-state staff. RN will serve as a liaison between the unblinded staff and the sponsors for all sites. They will also serve as back-up unblinded pharmacy designee for the sites within Arizona.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Primary point person for all urgent support needed from unblinded staff for local and out-of-state staff.</li><li>
Liaison between sponsor representative and unblinded site staff for rheumatology and gastroenterology clinical trials.</li><li>
Coordinating/Scheduling and all unblinded monitoring visits</li><li>
Participates in monitoring visits from sponsor provided appointees, ensures monitors can meet/speak with PI and ensures all concerns are addressed in a timely manner.</li><li>
Ensuring quality is being maintained for all unblinded tasks within the Integrated Research Organization (IRO).</li><li>
Ensure drug shipments are received and filed accordingly</li><li>
Responsible for performing training for new unblinded staff and performs ongoing training as needed.</li><li>
Provides support and training to blinded infusion nurses</li><li>
Performs dispensation and preparation of unblinded investigational product (IP) using web-based drug dispensation transactions and dosing calculations.</li><li>
Ensures correct dose and medication is prepared for IV infusion.</li><li>
Performs unblinded ESRs</li><li>
Responsible for preparation of unblinded clinical trial medications for IV Or SC administration.</li><li>
Perform subcutaneous administration for unblinded trials</li><li>
Responsible for the chain of custody and accurate accountability of investigation products and devices.</li><li>
Ensures uniform implementation of protocols by completing the required training documentation in a consistent, accurate and timely manner.
</li><li>Participates in monitoring visits from sponsor provided appointees, ensures monitors can meet/speak with PI and ensures all concerns are addressed in a timely manner.</li><li>
Performs all functions according to established policies (SOPS), procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.</li><li>
Provides all employees and research subjects with excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating professional decorum.</li><li>
Travel as necessary for Investigator Meetings and other AARACR sites</li><li>
Perform other administrative duties as needed</li></ul> 
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Practical Nurse (LPN)</li><li>
Infusion experience preferred</li><li>
Clinical research experience preferred</li><li>
Reliable method of transportation and willingness to travel up to 2.5 hours (Flagstaff &amp; Tucson)</li><li>
Possess strong organizational skills</li><li>
Maintains confidentiality of patient and study information</li><li>
Understands and supports specific State regulations governing clinical research</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Willing and able to travel between AARACR sites within the same day if needed.</li><li>
Willing and able to travel for investigator meetings.</li></ul></div>
