 If you're passionate about working with children and families, becoming a Case Aide-Visitation at DCS can be a life-changing experience. After four years of successful service, you&rsquo;ll also be eligible for promotion to the DCS Specialist Trainee position ($21.70 per hour).
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 
 As an
 
 Assistant Case Manager/Case Aide-Visitation
 
 , you&rsquo;ll:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Supervise visitation meetings among parents and children
 </li>
 <li>
 Enter case notes into the computer-based Case Management System
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive on state business to transport children to appointments and meetings
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties appropriate to the assignment
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 You may also be required to work outside of regular hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re Looking For Someone Who Can
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Build and maintain trusting, professional relationships
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with compassion, professionalism, and discretion in sensitive situations
 </li>
 <li>
 Use attention to detail when completing clerical tasks
 </li>
 <li>
 Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, digital calendars, video conferencing, and mobile technology to document and coordinate work
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 What We Need From You (Required Qualifications)

 High School Diploma or GED.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver&rsquo;s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record
 </li>
 <li>
 The ability to obtain and maintain a valid Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
 </li>
 <li>
 Work history, Central Registry and Public Record will be considered
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, and the following requirements apply:
 
 
 Driver&rsquo;s License Requirements.

 Provide direct services in Department of Child Safety programs
 </li>

 Transport clients and ensure proper use of child safety seats

 Schedule appointments and coordinate services
 </li>

 Supervise parent-child visits
 </li>
 <li>
 Refer clients to community resources
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend court hearings and required meetings
 </li>
 <li>
 Document client interactions and activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide general case management and clerical support
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Collaborate effectively with case managers, supervisors, and service providers as part of a team-centered approach
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and mobile technology to communicate, schedule, and document work
 </li>
 <li>
 Safely transport children to appointments while maintaining compliance with driving and safety requirements
 
 
 </li>
