We believe caring for children is a ministry and we&rsquo;re looking for team members who share that calling.Job Summary: We&rsquo;re seeking a dependable, caring teacher who loves children and reflects the love of Christ through their work. The ideal candidate will provide age-appropriate learning experiences, encourage creativity, and help children develop a strong foundation.Job Requirements:<ul><li>Manage classroom behavior by promoting positive social interactions</li><li>Monitor the safety and well being of all children in your care</li><li>Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with parents and caregivers</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with children indoors and outdoors</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required (CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred)</li><li>CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days (On the job training available)</li><li>Strong communication (verbal and written), patience, and teamwork skills</li><li>Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and supports the mission and statement of faith of The Ark Church</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with children indoors and outdoors</li><li>Experience working with young children in a child care or preschool setting and knowledge of child development and early learning best practices is preferred.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive pay ($16-$19/hr)</li><li>Paid training and professional development</li><li>A supportive, faith-filled team environment</li><li>Opportunities to make a lasting impact on children&rsquo;s lives</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>The Ark Child Care is a Christian organization and ministry.
