Position Overview:

Our RST business unit is seeking an individual familiar with Agile methodologies to serve as a scrum master on one of our programs working with the US Government. In this position, you will be at the forefront of implementing software in a new and growing development area and take ownership of the technical work under a more senior product owner who is broadly recognized in the community, learning directly from the best.

The team is based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This work requires candidates to be a U.S. citizen holding a Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Facilitate all scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, program increment planning, and program increment reviews</li>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies</li>
<li>Be able to identify opportunities for improvement/efficiency, get buy-in across the program, and implement</li>
<li>Be a leader by directly overseeing development, mentoring other staff members, and sharing your knowledge</li>
<li>Learning from our recognized leaders and setting oneself up for future leadership in the area</li>
<li>Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements development, software design, implementation and build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>U.S. citizenship with a current/active Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance</li>
<li>Experience with government contracts and familiarity with government development processes</li>
<li>Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to resolve impediments and conflicts efficiently and effectively</li>
<li>Familiarity with Jira and Confluence as mechanisms for tracking work and communicating with customers</li>
<li>Must be willing to work on-site</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or 5 years of professional experience in lieu of degree</li>
<li>Programming skills in C++, Python, Java, or Rust</li>
<li>Desire to learn new technologies</li>
</ul>
