 The Software (CE-SW) group is responsible for developing and improving the software ecosystem around Arm's next generation architectures and systems. This means working with processors and other hardware technology not yet available to the public. You will join a team of Software Engineers who share a passion for leaving their mark on the future of computing.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Active involvement in the software design and test of reference application processor firmware.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Your day-to-day role will involve low level software development, test and debug on various platforms, including software models, development boards and shipping products.
 </li>
 <li>
 Creating software stacks for Arm&rsquo;s reference platforms for future Arm devices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Development of test code

 Create automation solutions to streamline and minimize manual testing and development tasks.
 </li>

 We want you to be able to analyse industry specs, roadmap requirements, breakdown tasks and help implement the project plans.

 Required Skills and Experience:

 Minimum 3-10 years of relevant experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent C/C++ programming skills with the ability to add significant new functionality, analyse and fix complex defects. Some knowledge of assembly and strong debugging skills are preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience with software testing or software development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in application and low-level systems, with a strong understanding of system architecture (preferably ARM), OS fundamentals, bootloaders, and device drivers. Proficiency in Linux/Windows operating systems and driver development is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good understanding of test methodologies, CI and test automation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and spoken English.

Software Engineer

<div>Job Overview:
This is a hands-on role that will require technical expertise working closely with EIT teams to solve and resolve end issues focusing on first line fix. Have high levels of customer service and quality, focusing on exceptional end user experience taking full ownership of issues.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Act as the first point of contact for all tickets through Service now portal, chat and phone.</li><li>
Take full ownership of issues reported, being able to build relationships across EIT teams and raise more complex issues for resolution while keeping end to end ownership towards the end user.</li><li>
Provide meaningful updates for unresolved issues keeping end users updated during ticket lifecycle &ndash; end to end ticket ownership.</li><li>
To make effective use of the EIT Knowledge base and contribute to it with new information, known errors, workarounds, fixes and recommend KT changes when applicable via the Knowledge Management function.</li><li>
Work on a shift pattern, on a 24/7/365 operating model, while being able to work independently and flexibly in response to emergencies or critical issues.</li></ul>
Required Skills and Experience:<ul><li>
Experience with ServiceNow and in depth knowledge of ITSM processes.</li><li>
Previous experience (at least 3 years) working in technical Service Desk.</li><li>
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Experience of working effectively within collaborative teams, with a global spread, ideally in a technology-based business environment. You can work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>
Network: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP. Understands WAN, LAN principles determining the correct impact for issues reported.</li><li>
Virtualization and Storage infrastructure, High Performance computing and Cloud services.</li><li>
Lenovo and Apple Hardware Support (laptop and desktop remote fix capability).</li><li>
Understanding of UAM across on Prem and Azure AD, including fault finding and access issues.</li><li>
Working with an Identity management platform for user life cycle management, ideally Microsoft Identity Manager.</li><li>
Experience supporting Windows (10 and 11) remotely and preferably one of Mac OS or Linux (Ubuntu).</li><li>
End user support of Microsoft Office 365 applications and administration and collaboration tools including MS Teams and Slack.</li><li>
Mobile devices &ndash; Android and iOS &ndash; enrolling in Intune MDM as well as end user support.</li><li>
Understanding of common security tooling including how to identify end user issues.</li><li>
Network and local printers troubleshooting (also MFP&rsquo;s) such as HP and Konica.</li><li>
Zoom Meeting and Zoom webinar end user support (from both end user device and meeting room perspective)!</li><li>
Experience with SaaS tools Github, Jira, and Confluence.</li></ul>

Service Desk Analyst

<div>We are seeking a compliance attorney to join the Arm Legal team with our Ethics and Compliance function in San Jose, CA. This is an opportunity to join our business at an exciting time as Arm&rsquo;s business continues to grow, along with the importance of our brands. Reporting to Arm&rsquo;s Chief Compliance Officer, you will be a licensed attorney and compliance minded professional familiar with the wide range of ethics and compliance issues relevant to companies in the semiconductor industry, but with expertise in supply chain and third-party risk issues.
Our US Legal team is predominantly based in San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program with a foundation based off the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct for global supply chain operations, monitoring relevant laws, conducting legal risk assessments, and advising upon supplier adherence.</li><li>
Sustainability and ESG Compliance: Provide Ethics and Compliance expertise on sustainability matters, with an emphasis on issues impacting the semiconductor industry and reporting frameworks such as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Conflict Minerals Reporting Template, and relevant California standards. Also, advise upon legal and compliance considerations necessary to ensure adherence to the necessary frameworks for the further development of sustainable purchasing practices.</li><li>
Advise on compliance with specific regulations and initiatives related to semiconductor supply chains, such as the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and anti-forced labor measures.</li><li>
Serve as the primary Ethics and Compliance advisor for the Quality and the Standards teams with an emphasis on the interpretation of relevant ISO standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 14001 as well as the development of relevant Ethics and Compliance metrics for reporting to governance bodies as appropriate.</li><li>
Advise from an Ethics and Compliance perspective on the conduct of due diligence assessments of corporate supply chains, advise on risk mitigation strategies and opportunities to improve security, sustainability, and resilience.</li><li>
Collaborate with internal and external partners, including Sustainability, Engineering teams, corporate functions, external counsel, Procurement, and logistics teams on compliance and sustainability initiatives.</li><li>
Work with E&amp;C Colleagues on the evolution and administration of the Company&rsquo;s Conflict of Interest Program, particularly as relates to program execution, risk identification, trend analysis and the deployment of metrics.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Juris Doctorate degree and a minimum of 6-8 years of experience advising multinational businesses on supply chain, third-party risk, and sustainability matters.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to deliver practical, compliance advice which is aligned to Arm&rsquo;s strategy and culture in a clear and solutions-focused way</li><li>

Salary Range:
$246,500-$333,500 per year
