<div>Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, this associate will be responsible for accurately validating receipts and/or pulling and packing products shipped to customers with a high level of accuracy. Also includes LEAN processes and general warehouse duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Receiving:<ul><li>
Matching products to packing slips, checking expiration dates, watching for special orders, and dealing with any issues that arise regarding shipments.</li><li>
Properly matching packing slips to purchase orders</li><li>
Labeling products that are not clearly marked</li><li>
Reviewing and processing back orders</li><li>
Pack up returns/repairs to go back to vendors</li></ul>
Shipping:<ul><li>
Accurately pulling products from shelves</li></ul><ul><li>
Carefully packaging product to be shipped/delivered to our customers via route, LTL, small parcels, and pickups</li><li>
Labeling and stocking shelves with newly received products</li><li>
Assist with inventory and inventory prep</li><li>
Invoicing</li><li>
Stock rotation regarding lot control and FIFO on items without lot control</li><li>
LEAN and 5S processes and policies</li><li>
Load and unloading of delivery trucks</li></ul>
.Marginal Functions<ul><li>
Housekeeping: dusting, sweeping, making cooler boxes, organizing ice packs, trash removal, lunchroom, and restroom cleanliness.</li><li>
Assist in multiple areas as needed for success</li><li>
Contribute to building a quality work environment by taking initiative, respecting others, and being a team player.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>

Education and/or Experience: Requires a high school diploma with courses in math and computer operations.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret pick tickets. Ability to write business correspondence via email. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must maintain a high level of accuracy.
Other skills and Abilities: Ability to operate a computer, fork-lift certified, work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and work under pressure. Farm experience and animal health knowledge a plus. Ability to follow directions, prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and work independently.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required stand and walk for long periods of time; use of hands and fingers to handle or touch objects; reach above shoulders; speak and hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds up to waist level. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision.
Tools/Equipment Used: Forklift, Box knife, pushcart, hand jack, electric jack, tape gun, and computer.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moderate cold/heat conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually mid-level to loud.
Protective clothing/equipment required: Steel toe shoes or boots, gloves when handling sharp or abrasive objects.
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.</div>
