<div>As a Custodial Worker at the Exchange, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for making sure our facility are cleaned and sanitized. You&rsquo;ll also benefit from having basic knowledge of common cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment. Attention to detail is important, as you will help gauge stock levels and will troubleshoot for minor issues. If you are a highly motivated individual that prides themselves on completing tasks, this position is for you! You&rsquo;ll be able to have your independence, while still working on a team.<br>

<div>PREVIOUS CUSTODIAL OR JANITORIAL EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED; ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY; ATTENTION TO DETAIL; RELIABILITY AND PUNCTUALITY. MAINTAINING OUTER LANDSCAPING AREAS, INCLUDING TRASH PICKUP, LIGHT GROUNDSKEEPING, AND SEASONAL UPKEEP. &Ograve; GENERAL CLEANING OF INTERIOR AREAS (FLOORS, RESTROOMS, OFFICES, AND COMMON SPACES)&Ograve; FLOOR CARE, TRASH REMOVAL, AND RESTOCKING SUPPLIESMUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALTERNATING SHIFTS TO INCLUDE NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND SOME HOLIDAYS.</div>

</div><div><p><b>Major Duties</b></p>
<div>Sweeps floors, hallways, corridors, and stairways, and mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor surfaces using heavy duty powered equipment. Performs necessary maintenance such as cleaning and oiling equipment.<br>
Operates heavy industrial type vacuum cleaner to clean rugs and drapes, using chemicals and cleaning solutions as required.<br>
Washes windows, walls and partitions, and cleans and replaces venetian blinds and light fixtures, using ladder or scaffold.<br>
Moves heavy furniture, boxes or other obstacles in accomplishment of cleaning duties. Moves trash, scraps, and other material to central pick-up point.<br>
Cleans, adjusts, and oils tools and powered equipment, and changes brushes, rollers, pads and blades.<br>
Washes, cleans, disinfects, deodorizes, and maintains restrooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Replaces toilet tissue, towels, soap and deodorizer, as required.<br>
Dusts, waxes, and polishes office furniture; cleans shelves and empties ash trays and waste baskets. Maintains stock of restroom and janitorial supplies. May do light outdoor work related to facility cleanliness such as picking up litter and sweeping steps and sidewalks.<br>
Performs other duties as assigned.</div><br>
