Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated litigation Attorney to join our thriving legal team in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate would be a junior-to-mid-midlevel litigation/trial attorney.With a minimum of 1 year of trial experience in personal injury cases, including experience deposing corporate defendants and expert witnesses. We are looking for an advocate who has a passion for justice and success in trial.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide comprehensive legal representation for plaintiffs in complex litigation and personal injury matters, including but not limited to:</li><li>Automobile accidents, catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, products liability, negligence, toxic exposure, wrongful death, dog bites, and asbestosis claims.</li><li>Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare discovery requests/responses, and draft demand letters and settlement agreements.</li><li>Take and defend depositions, prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial, and execute trial strategies.</li><li>Manage caseloads from inception through resolution, ensuring deadlines are met and strategies are aligned with client goals.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare providers, consultants, and expert witnesses to build strong case foundations.</li><li>Maintain effective and timely communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing status updates throughout the litigation process.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with evolving laws, statutes, and precedents impacting complex litigation and personal injury cases.</li><li>Independently handle complex legal issues and effectively pursue informal resolution tactics when applicable.</li><li>Attend client meetings, events, and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and external partners.</li><li>Provide mentorship and collaborate with team members to ensure consistent high-quality outcomes for clients.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.</li><li>Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.</li><li>Minimum 2-3 years of experience practicing law preferred.</li><li>Minimum 1 year of litigation experience in California state and federal courts preferred.</li><li>Experience on Plaintiff side tort litigation, including wrongful death, dangerous property conditions, and trip-and-fall cases preferred.</li><li>Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.</li><li>High ethical standards and commitment to professional conduct.</li><li>Certifications or affiliations with professional organizations preferred.</li><li>Arbitration and mediation experience is preferred.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive Salary: Base salary plus bonuses, ranging from $120,000 to $200,000 or more with performance bonuses.</li><li>Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision, holidays, PTO, 401(k) with matching.</li><li>Professional Development: Paid CLEs, bar memberships, and association dues.</li><li>Opportunities for leadership roles and career growth within the firm.</li><li>Supportive and collaborative team environment.</li></ul>About Us:Great companies require one thing above all else: great people.
