This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, food industry environment while making a positive impact on our guests&rsquo; day.Duties<ul><li>Greet customers with a warm, energetic attitude and take their orders accurately using the Square POS system.</li><li>Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and other food items following safety and quality standards.</li><li>Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and POS functions.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food handling, food preparation, and adhering to food safety regulations.</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining accuracy in sales and cash handling.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests.Experience</li><li>Previous barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly desirable.</li><li>Cashiering skills with familiarity in Square POS system preferred</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.</li><li>Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.</li><li>Basic knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures preferred</li><li>Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced caf&eacute; or retail setting while multitasking effectively.</li><li>Experience in the food industry or retail environment is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.</li></ul>Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
