Food Preparation<ul><li>Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and marinating.</li><li>Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines.</li><li>Ensure meals are cooked to the correct specifications and meet quality standards,</li></ul>Cooking Duties<ul><li>Operate a variety of kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and stovetops.</li><li>Cook and present dishes in an appealing, efficient, and timely manner.</li><li>Adjust cooking techniques based on special requests, dietary needs, or food sensitivities.</li></ul>Kitchen Maintenance<ul><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment in compliance with food safety guidelines.</li><li>Wash utensils, cooking tools, and work surfaces.</li><li>Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling protocols.</li></ul>Food Safety and Hygiene<ul><li>Monitor food storage temperatures and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO: First In, First Out).</li><li>Adhere to sanitation and health regulations, including handwashing and avoiding cross-contamination.</li><li>Report spoiled or low-quality ingredients to management.</li></ul>Inventory and Supplies<ul><li>Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking kitchen supplies as needed.</li><li>Notify the kitchen supervisor of shortages in food and supplies.</li><li>Properly store and label food items for freshness.</li></ul>Team Collaboration<ul><li>Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff, including chefs, sous chefs, and dishwashers.</li><li>Communicate effectively to ensure smooth food preparation and service.</li><li>Train new team members on kitchen operations and safety procedures when required.</li></ul>Time Management<ul><li>Manage cooking timelines to ensure dishes are prepared efficiently during busy hours.</li><li>Prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously.</li></ul>Quality Assurance<ul><li>Taste and inspect dishes before serving to ensure quality and consistency.</li><li>Follow presentation standards to ensure visually appealing meals.</li></ul>Customer Service<ul><li>Address customer concerns or complaints related to food quality.</li><li>Adapt dishes to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.</li></ul>Special Projects and Tasks<ul><li>Assist with menu development and testing new recipes.</li><li>Participate in kitchen deep-cleaning projects.</li><li>Support management in ensuring smooth kitchen operations.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
