In this role, you will assist with all procurement functions related to the purchasing of materials and supplies, while maintaining accurate and detailed records. Using your strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, you will also be responsible for sourcing, initiating, and negotiating material purchases &amp; contracts, as well as spot buys when appropriate, and maintaining just-in-time inventory while minimizing excess inventory.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
YOUR TASKS
</b></h2><ul><li>Place purchase orders, ensure the supplier acknowledges them, confirm the delivery date, and establish regular checkpoints to keep the purchase on track. Ensures that the supplier has implemented contingency plans to ensure that the purchase stays on track.</li><li>
Participate in monthly procurement meetings</li><li>
Report variances to the Director of Procurement</li><li>
Month-end invoice reconciliation</li><li>
Implement KPI&rsquo;s to ensure vendors are meeting Arvato&rsquo;s requirements, such as on-time delivery</li><li>
Issuance of standardized RFP/RFQs to take advantage of Arvato&rsquo;s overall spend</li><li>
Contract negotiations in alignment with Legal</li><li>
Collaborate with internal departments and regularly meet on needs and requirements</li><li>
Report issues regarding vendor product quality, dependability, and service issues to the Director of Procurement as quickly as possible</li><li>
Follow ISO processes</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
YOUR PROFILE</b></h2><ul><li>
At least 3 years of experience in procurement</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent work experience</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Demonstrated expertise with SAP or any large ERP</li><li>
Expertise with Excel (including Pivot Tables), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook,</li><li>
Able to collaborate professionally with all levels of employees, management, external and internal customers, and vendors</li><li>
Organizational and planning skills, including the ability to: prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set personal goals and enforce personal deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals</li><li>
The ability to sit for extended periods of time within an office environment</li><li>
Ability to work Monday- Friday, 8 am-5 pm</li><li>
