About This Role
The Regional Project Geologist supports mineral discovery by planning and executing exploration activities across assigned project areas to support the discovery and evaluation of mineral resources while ensuring safety, cost effectiveness and efficient resource utilization. The role ensures data quality, supervises field teams and provides geological interpretation to guide drilling and target generation. 
Key Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Conduct exploration activities including mapping, soil and trench sampling activities.</li><li>
Perform geological logging activities on Reverse Circulation chips and diamond drill core.</li><li>
Execute detailed geological data review and analysis.</li><li>
Organize and supervise sampling crews for RC rig and ascertain that same samples are taken properly, processed properly, and sent to laboratory with appropriate duplicates, blanks, and standards.
</li><li>Implementation of QAQC protocols and programs.</li><li>
Observe operations to detect violation of Legal and Corporate requirements and report to management.</li><li>
Conduct geological sections with planned holes to guide ongoing drilling programs under the supervision of the senior geologist.</li><li>
Prepare and maintain drill hole statistics.</li><li>
Transfer field data into database and DD boreholes must be entered as soon as they have been completed.</li><li>
Perform geological interpretation.</li><li>
Participate in generation of prospective targets by reviewing and integrating various geological data sets.</li><li>
Provide representatives of drilling contractors with layout of design holes.</li><li>
Track drilling progress on daily basis.</li><li>
Visit drill sites to spot holes, assess safety &amp; technical requirements.</li><li>
Participate in reducing overall exploration costs through effective utilization of resources.</li><li>
Supervision of any sample collection, storage, shipment performed by technicians.

Ensure timely and accurate collation of geological data.</li><li>
Assist in accident and incident investigations and ensure that remedial actions are implemented by scheduled dates.</li><li>
Ensure daily reports are completed on time.</li></ul>
 Education, Work Experience &amp; Key Competencies
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, Earth Science, Geology or other relevant discipline is required. 
</li><li>
A post graduate degree is desirable.</li><li>
A minimum of 5 years' experience in geology of which 2 years has been in an exploration role.</li><li>
Professional registration with a recognized professional association is desirable.</li><li>
Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects successfully.</li><li>
Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to guide teams effectively and work collaboratively.</li><li>
Ability to develop geological interpretations of the mineralization through the implementation and supervision of geological Mapping.</li><li>
Solid knowledge of geology related QA/QC standards and methods.</li><li>
Proficiency in geological and mining related software (Micromine, Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine, etc.).</li><li>
Must have good organizational and administrative skills.</li><li>
Must have experience in conflict resolution.</li><li>

About This Role 
The Regional Exploration Superintendent will lead the development, implementation and supervision of regional exploration strategies aimed at resource growth and efficient evaluation of mineral prospects. The role provides technical leadership and oversight of exploration programs while ensuring QA/QC compliance, operational efficiency and alignment with corporate objectives. The incumbent will drive continuous improvement in geological systems, optimize exploration costs and ensure adherence to safety, ethical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Plan and implement exploration programs, including geological mapping, drill rig supervision, core logging, field logistics coordination, geological data collection and results evaluation.</li><li>
Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance in all aspects of mineral resource estimation. 
</li><li>Provide technical input on geological data and oversee the implementation and monitoring of QA/QC protocols. 
</li><li>Assist in the development and continuous update of 3D geological models, collaborating with the Resource team to support resource estimation. 
</li><li>Prepare and document resource models, including orebody modeling, variable estimation, result reporting, and comprehensive documentation of estimation methodologies. 
</li><li>Identify and generate prospective exploration targets through the integration and analysis of diverse geological datasets. 
</li><li>Conduct internal audits of the geology and exploration management systems and reconcile findings with external audit outcomes. 
</li><li>Develop detailed technical documentation to support exploration expenditure proposals and funding applications. 
</li><li>Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by optimizing exploration activities minimizing delays and improving operational efficiency. 
</li><li>Participate in the review and ranking of regional exploration targets and contribute to the design of phased evaluation programs. 
</li><li>Support strategic planning by ensuring exploration programs align with the mine's long-term business objectives and target prioritization. 
</li><li>Manage drilling programs to ensure timely delivery of datasets required for Mineral Resource updates in accordance with the mine planning cycle. 
</li><li>Oversee rigorous data capture and quality control processes in line with established standard operating procedures (SOPs). 
</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives with the Project Geologists to enhance the quality of geological inputs and supervision of exploration activities. 
</li><li>Develop and implement procedures and policies that comply with regulatory and corporate governance standards. 
</li><li>Support the technical development of geoscientists, identify high-potential talent, and align them with career advancement opportunities. 
</li><li>Ensure geology personnel are adequately trained in all relevant SOPs and maintain these standards through regular field observations. 
</li><li>Implement systems for timely and accurate collation, validation, and reporting of geological data. 
</li><li>Monitor and enforce adherence to optimal drilling schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-priority targets. 
</li><li>Ensure timely completion and submission of all required technical reports.</li><li>

Education, Work Experience &amp; Key Competencies
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related programme from a recognized institution.</li><li>
A postgraduate degree in Geology or a related field is highly desirable. 
</li><li>A minimum of 10 years of experience in exploration geology, with at least 5 years in a senior geologist or equivalent leadership role. 
</li><li>Professional registration with a recognized geological or mining association is preferred.

About This Role 
The Regional Exploration Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for all regional exploration activities, ensuring the effective discovery, evaluation and development of new mineral resources. This role develops and executes exploration strategies, oversees geological programs and aligns regional objectives with the company's long-term growth plans while promoting safety, continuous improvement, cost effectiveness and efficient resource utilization across all exploration operations.
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Manage all aspects of mineral exploration within the designated jurisdiction, including administrative, governance, and technical requirements as well as strategic initiatives.</li><li>
Lead the implementation of strategies to improve exploration practices and performance in alignment with the organization's overall strategic goals.</li><li>
Promote and uphold Asante's commitment to health and safety, sustainability and environmental standards across all project activities. 
</li><li>Liaise with corporate exploration leadership, site management, and external partners on exploration strategy, progress, and outcomes.</li><li>
Collaborate closely with exploration geologists and geoscientists to identify opportunities, evaluate programs and oversee the planning and execution of mid- to long-term exploration initiatives. 
</li><li>Identify and implement opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising technical quality or safety</li><li>
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor adherence across exploration activities.</li><li>
Facilitate the exchange of geological and technical information by fostering open communication between regional functions and site-based technical teams. 
</li><li>Conduct technical audits to support business decisions, analyze data, prepare technical documentation and present recommendations and status updates to management and key stakeholders. 
</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in exploration methodologies, QA/QC systems, and geological modeling processes.</li><li>
Facilitate the integration of new technologies and data analytics to enhance exploration efficiency and decision-making.

Collaborate with resource geologists and technical specialists to refine geological interpretations and 3D models.</li><li>
Ensure timely reporting, data validation, and documentation to support resource estimation and corporate reporting requirements.</li><li>

Education, Work Experience &amp; Key Competencies
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Geology and/or master's degree in Geosciences or Geological Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.</li><li>
A minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in mineral exploration with at least five (5) years in a managerial or leadership role. 
</li><li>Certification from the Inspectorate Division of the Minerals Commission (IDMC), Ghana. 
</li><li>Professional registration with a recognized geological or mining association is desirable. 
</li><li>Proven experience managing multi-rig exploration drilling programs (Reverse Circulation and Diamond Drilling).</li><li>
Proficiency in industry-standard mining and exploration software such as Micromine, Datamine, Surpac, Vulcan, MapInfo, ArcGIS and Leapfrog. 
</li><li>Experience with geological database software such as Acquire, Datashed, or Fusion. 
</li><li>Skilled in geological and/or resource modelling. 
</li><li>Strong understanding of QA/QC programs and protocols. 
</li><li>Experience with magmatic-hydrothermal ore-forming systems and current mineral deposit models. 
</li><li>Solid grasp of economic geology principles. 
</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across various scales. 
</li><li>Sound knowledge of mining regulations, environmental standards and exploration governance frameworks.</li><li>
