Job Description 
<ul><li>
Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.</li><li>
Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.</li><li>
Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.</li><li>
Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.</li><li>
Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.</li><li>
Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing</li><li>
Current Maryland Registered Nurse License</li><li>
Current CPR Certification</li></ul>

Job Description 
<ul><li>
Oversees 24-hour nursing care for assigned unit in compliance with policies, regulations, and long-term care standards.</li><li>
Coordinates care across disciplines to ensure continuity, quality, and resident satisfaction.</li><li>
Leads quality assurance initiatives, conducts audits, and implements corrective actions.</li><li>
Supervises, trains, and evaluates staff; manages schedules, performance, and staffing needs.</li><li>
Maintains accurate medical records, ensures compliance with medication procedures, and participates in care plan meetings, surveys, and interdisciplinary collaboration.</li><li>
Provides clinical support, restorative care oversight, and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams while fostering a positive, professional work environment.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.</li><li>
Current RN or LPN License from the State of Maryland.</li><li>
Minimum five (5) years of experience in geriatric nursing including two (2) years of experience as a Charge Nurse/Manager in geriatric care with progressive experience in an administrative and supervisory capacity.</li><li>
Current CPR required.</li><li>
IV certification preferred.</li></ul>
