POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Content Coordinator, under the supervision of the Director of Communications, is responsible for developing and capturing content to support marketing and communications efforts. This position entails working with the Director of Communications and across departments to understand content needs and develop strategies and processes. The ability to capture and edit photos and videos to create high quality assets is required for this role. The Digital Content Coordinator will also partner with the Director of Communications to manage social media channels by developing plans, scheduling content, interacting with followers, and creating paid ads. Please note that this is a part-time position averaging 20-25 hours per week with evening and weekend hours required. Time will be spent attending daytime, evening, and weekend classes and events throughout the Charlotte area, including in Uptown, Plaza Midwood, and Myers Park. The position also requires time in the Arts+ offices and allowsfor remote work. Depending on candidate preference, exact hours worked each week can vary or follow a set schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to concept and develop original creative content that aligns with the Arts+ brand and meets the needs of key stakeholders and target audiences</li><li>
Develop and maintain a content production calendar, ensuring content is captured, edited, and finalized according to deadlines</li><li>
Attend Arts+ programs including group classes and workshops, choir practices and concerts, and other events to capture photo and video content that can be used for a variety of mediums, including social media, email marketing, websites, digital ads, and printed materials</li><li>
Regularly interact with the Charlotte arts community, Arts+ staff, faculty, families, partners, and donors, and more on social media</li><li>
Respond to social media inquiries in a timely manner</li><li>
Collaborate with Director of Communications to develop and execute paid media strategy, focusing on Facebook and Instagram advertising</li><li>
Stay up to date with social media platform updates, best practices, and trending content and quickly update/adapt content plans</li><li>
Work with the Director of Communications to create and execute on a social media content calendar that drives brand awareness and engagement</li><li>
Monitor and analyze marketing and content performance metrics, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement</li><li>
Assist Director of Communications with other marketing and communications tasks according to organizational need and personal interest</li><li>

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required qualifications:<ul><li>
1-3 years professional experience in digital content creation and digital marketing (internship and freelance experience applies)</li><li>
Ability to provide examples of created Instagram Reels and/or TikToks</li><li>
Experienced user of CapCut or other video editing software</li><li>
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite</li><li>
Ability to interact with community members, staff, and donors at all levels with a high level of professionalism</li><li>
Well-organized with exceptional attention to detail, yet adaptable and flexible enough to meet evolving priorities</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple tasks, including setting priorities and adapting to changes, in a time-sensitive, fast-paced workplace</li><li>
Strong written communication skills</li><li>
Experienced user of social media scheduling tools such as HeyOrca, Later, Loomly, and Planoly</li><li>
Comfortable using Canva Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite</li><li>
Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday and Trello</li><li>
Experienced user of Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace</li><li>
Reliable transportation for travel between multiple program sites</li><li>
Personal commitment to arts education</li><li>
Connections within the Charlotte arts community a plus</li><li>
The COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment</li></ul>

Digital Content Coordinator

<div>Safe Alliance &ndash; Client Care Specialist
The Client Care Specialist at the Shelter supports the agency by providing hope and healing to those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault by providing administrative support to direct service and leadership staff.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Client Care
Using trauma-informed, client-centered approach:
<ul><li>Answer agency phone calls, screen and direct callers as appropriate, provide accurate description of services, and refer to external services as necessary</li><li>
Answer hotline calls -provide assessment, crisis intervention, safety planning, parent support, and education to callers, focusing on needs of entire family.</li><li>
Act with clients in mind and work to meet client needs and expectations to the extent possible.</li><li>
Provide information and referral to community resources to callers as appropriate.</li><li>
As appropriate, assist caller with navigating the criminal justice system as it relates to their victimization by providing information, court preparation, and education, working closely with the Victim Assistance program and Victim Witness Assistant at the DA's Office.</li><li>
Educate client on process to obtain a protective order and coordinate with the Victim Assistance and Legal Representation Program, as appropriate.</li><li>
Gather initial intake information, connect with appropriate staff member</li><li>
Provide crisis intervention services by telephone or in person as necessary including responding to hotline calls</li><li>
Manage behavior within shelter by enforcing structure keeping clients in mind</li><li>
Resolve residential conflict and maintaining a safe environment while keeping clients in mind.</li><li>
Respond to area hospitals to provide rape crisis support as necessary</li></ul>
Administration<ul><li>
Adhere to Agency procedures concerning Documentation, Critical Incident Reports and Client Satisfaction Surveys and participate in the Quality Assurance Process.</li><li>
Maintain accurate database information by entering required client information</li><li>
Partner with direct care staff to maintain up-to-date client files (may include electronic/physical files)</li><li>
Support office function by handling mail and maintaining supply of current forms</li><li>
Keep client and staff work spaces clean and functioning
</li><li>Maintain up to date inventory of needed supplies for staff and clients.</li><li>
Adhere to agency procedures concerning Documentation, Critical Incident Reports and Client Satisfaction surveys and participate in the Quality Assurance process.
</li><li>Verify and print timecard in a timely manner.</li></ul>
Stewardship<ul><li>
Support agency mission by participating in agency and community meetings and committees as requested by supervisor.</li><li>
Promote and maintain professional relationships with agency staff, volunteers, and community partners.</li></ul>
Professional Development<ul><li>
Contribute to quality services by staying informed of developments and trends in the area of child development, parenting, trauma and victimization, especially as it relates to sexual violence, child maltreatment, and intimate partner violence.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>
Education: High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.</li><li>
Experience: 1 year administrative or customer service related experience.</li><li>
Experience working in human services field preferred.</li><li>
Experience working with victims preferred.</li><li>
Spanish speaking preferred &ndash; if hired as a Spanish speaking staff member, candidate must be fluent in understanding, speaking, and writing in Spanish.</li></ul>
Preferences:<ul><li>
Bachelor or Associate's Degree preferred</li><li>
