Job Profile &ndash; Technician &ndash; Maintenance, Cotton Ginning Mill Job Title: Technician, Ginning Machine MaintenanceReporting to: Manager -Production / GM -PlantLocation: Northern Region, NigeriaResponsibilities :<ul><li>Monitoring the process of ginning from seed cotton feeding to bale formation.</li><li>Responsible for the mechanical maintenance of machines.</li><li>Supervising the electrical maintenance and that of generators and compressors.</li><li>Monitoring all repairs and breakdown issues and logging them down.</li><li>Overseeing the annual mechanical and electrical maintenance of production and utility machines.</li><li>Preparation of a list of imported items required annually for season&ndash;end maintenance.</li><li>Keeping track of technical items taken outside for repairs and modifications.</li><li>Issuing out items from Stores as required by the operations.</li><li>Taking regular monthly inventory. Maintain details of spares and consumables and ensure timely requisition to avoid any slippages.</li></ul>Qualification/Experience:<ul><li>ITI -Mechanical engineering from a Govt-approved institute in India or</li></ul>12th pass<ul><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in the cotton ginning factory, with 5 to 6 years of independent and direct hands-on ginning machines</li><li>Maintenance work experience</li></ul>Job Type: PermanentApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Have you worked in Nigeria before?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Cotton ginning factory: 10 years (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>International Passport (Preferred)</li></ul>
