 We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer specialising in Microsoft Azure/M365 to join our growing Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure management, specifically within Microsoft Azure, and will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Take a proactive approach to maintaining business-as-usual operations across all systems, including patch management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage workload using fundamental project management frameworks, including design, build, test and deploy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Design and implement Azure-based infrastructure solutions to support business applications and services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance and security.
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimise the performance and scalability of cloud infrastructure, including capacity planning and resource management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services escalated from the Service Desk Team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with the wider business to ensure seamless integration and support of cloud infrastructure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage acquisitions and onboarding activity, providing technical support and advice.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay current with the latest Azure technologies, trends and best practices, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure processes and solutions.

 </ul>
 
 Qualifications And Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 3-5 years&rsquo; experience in system administration, with a focus on Azure/M365 cloud services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Microsoft certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate and M365 Fundamentals are desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Network qualifications are desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Project management experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking and security.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong networking experience, including Azure vNets, SD-WAN and ZTNA technologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in the financial services industry is desirable.
