 We are looking for a teammate with the following qualifications to be appointed as a "
 
 Purchasing Specialist
 
 " at the Head Office of our leading company in the forest products sector in Turkey and in the world, located in &Idot;stanbul.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BS degree in Engineering, Logistics or Business Administration (preferably Industrial Engineer, Management Engineer, Chemical Engineer),
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environmen,
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus),
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English,
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in MS Office applications,
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills,
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines.
 </li>

 Execute daily purchasing operations in line with company procedures and policies,
 </li>
 <li>
 Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best quality, cost, and delivery performance,
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations, shipment, and delivery schedules,
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor supplier performance and develop long-term relationships to ensure continuous improvement,
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate closely with planning, production, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted supply,
 </li>
 <li>
 Track market trends and price fluctuations to support cost optimization efforts,
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain procurement data and documentation accurately within ERP systems,
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in supplier audits and contribute to strategic sourcing projects.
 </li>
