ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. Position Overview
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands-on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
Key Responsibilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)<ul><li>
Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities</li><li>
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation</li><li>
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP</li><li>
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team</li><li>
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support</li></ul>
What We're Looking For in a Direct Support Professional<ul><li>
Must be 18 years or older</li><li>
High school diploma or GED preferred</li><li>
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred</li><li>
Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required</li><li>
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)</li><li>
Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference</li></ul>
