About the Role (Brief):
As a Caregiver at Ashley Manor, youll be the friendly, compassionate presence helping residents with daily routines and emotional well-being. This role blends purpose, connection, and growth in a supportive, small-home environment. 
What Youll Do:<ul><li>
Assist with personal care: grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting</li><li>
Serve meals and help with feeding as needed</li><li>
Support residents medication routines and monitor their well-being</li><li>
Maintain a clean, safe, cozy living space</li><li>
Engage residents in meaningful, uplifting activities</li><li>
Keep accurate, thoughtful records to ensure quality care</li></ul> 
Requirements (Must-Haves):<ul><li>
Age 18+(or 17 with a CNA certificate in Idaho); pass criminal background check</li><li>
Certified in First Aid, CPR</li><li>
Able to lift ~35 lbs and committed to continuous improvement</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul> 
Preferred (Nice-To-Have):<ul><li>
CNA certification or cooking experience for groups</li><li>
Certified in Medication Assistance</li><li>
Prior caregiving in assisted living or community service experience</li><li>
Passion for enriching the lives of older adults</li></ul>

Saturday and Sundays 6am-10pm</li><li>
10pm-6am Sat-Wed</li></ul>
This position pays up to $18.50 per hour.

WHAT A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREGIVER LOOKS LIKE:
<ul><li>Assisting residents with ADLs including, but not limited to, grooming, hygiene, dressing, clothing cleanliness, perineal care, showering or baths, nail care, shaving, eating, ambulating, turning and positioning residents, etc., which requires lifting up to 35 pounds</li><li>
Using therapies and techniques to prevent and improve resident behaviors</li><li>
Cooking meals and following a menu to meet specific diet requirements for individual residents. Providing water and snacks between meals. Doing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, and dining room area after meals</li><li>
Housekeeping activities such as making and changing beds, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms, windows, etc</li><li>
Assisting residents in taking their medications</li><li>
Assisting residents with regular toileting including incontinence care if needed</li><li>
Keeping records, charting, medications, and recording resident activities</li><li>
Keeping work and resident areas safe, orderly and clear of obstacles</li><li>
Regular, reliable, attendance in performance of essential job functions
</li><li>Engaging residents in daily activities</li></ul> 
REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>Must be 18 years or older</li><li>
Must pass a criminal background check</li><li>
This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing</li><li>
Certifications in First Aid &amp; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and Medication Assistance Certification</li><li>
Must frequently lift or move objects up to 35lbs unassisted</li><li>
Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling required</li><li>
Repeated hand and arm movements, chopping, lifting, reaching over head, standing for extended periods of time, use a step stool and work on wet slippery surfaces, able to work around extreme heat and steam in the cooking area</li><li>
Must have sufficient physical ability to: stock food; prepare, cook and serve proper meals clean kitchen, kitchen equipment; bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, etc</li><li>
Required to continuously complete ongoing education following state specific requirements</li></ul>

Youve previously worked as a cook for large groups</li><li>
Have prior caregiving experience</li><li>
