Overview Job: Electrical Harness Design EngineerLocation: Wisconsin ( Remote)Job Description:ResponsibilitiesJob Description:Skills required:Job Description &amp; Skill Requirement:Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Use CAD modeling software and drafting understanding to create CAD models and manufacturing drawings of electrical harnesses and related components</li><li>Follow all customer required document control procedures to ensure proper data storage throughout the project</li><li>Work with customer engineering departments/disciplines to ensure design requirements are met</li><li>Create and deliver presentations at various required design reviews and when making engineering recommendations.</li><li>Generate templates, document lessons-learned, develop tools, and support the creation of training presentations to enable repeatable, standardized results amongst the team</li><li>Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to current engineering processes, tools, trainings, etc.</li><li>Update status reports, present project status to customers, and work with LTTS project management to ensure productive and consistent customer communication.</li><li>Understand and adhere to all export control regulations.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering</li><li>2+ year(s) of relevant CAD harness/cable design and drawing creation</li><li>Direct experience working with Creo Parametric CAD software</li><li>Outstanding communication and technical writing skills</li><li>Outstanding customer interfacing skills</li><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with off-highway vehicles / automotive industries</li><li>Experience with Creo Cabling application</li><li>Experience with Windchill PLM software</li><li>Experience working in electrical and mechanical harness design</li><li>An understanding of engineering services business practices</li><li>Exposure to project or program management</li><li>Experience writing or creating standard work, establishing processes, and documenting lessons learned</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $37.11 - $40.69 per hourWork Location: Remote
