As an eLearning Instructional Designer and Developer you will be a key contributor to this training by helping to advance and innovate the on-demand training program which currently includes close to 100 courses, certificate programs, and a certification program. This role is a full-time hybrid (position based in the New York, N.Y. headquarters).

About the Position 
Join the skilled ANA MTDC team delivering top-tier self-paced learning to leading organizations worldwide. We are seeking an experienced eLearning Instructional Designer and Developer (IDD) to both design and develop interactive eLearning course experiences. Development will be your primary responsibility, and instructional design will be your secondary responsibility. As an instructional designer, you will help identify content needs, build a pipeline of design and development projects, work with subject matter experts to develop/update/redesign instructional materials based on proven instructional design methods, and collaborate with course developers. As a course developer, you will be very skilled in technical course development and convert instructional materials into interactive/engaging courses using various course authoring software, platforms for AI-generated content and videos, visual/graphic design tools, and audio/video software.
 
 
What You Will Be Doing 
The following are the primary responsibilities for this position as an instructional designer and course developer: 
 
Instructional Designer (approximately 30% of your time, subject to change based on business needs):<ul><li>
Creating, managing, and maintaining the scope of the course design and development projects
</li><li>Identifying marketing industry learning needs and on-demand channel gaps for course development projects</li><li>
Identifying and working with subject matter experts on the on-demand course projects and keeping the course development pipeline filled on an on-going basis</li></ul><ul><li>
Refining supportive course design processes and templates for subject matter experts</li><li>
Following established eLearning design and development standards/guidelines, while continually enhancing them with innovative approaches</li><li>
Designing instructional materials with subject matter experts that will deliver engaging and interactive eLearning courses with multiple lessons, case studies, activities, knowledge checks, downloadable tools, and assessments</li><li>
Designing new microlearning courses and AI-generated course learning experiences</li><li>
Creating eLearning activities that provide practical learning application and enhance retention
</li><li>Developing storyboards, video scripts, and audio scripts for course development</li><li>
Applying knowledge of copyright and intellectual property guidelines for eLearning</li><li>
Collaborating with course developers on the vision for eLearning courses and providing guidance for compelling learning experiences and outcomes</li></ul>
Course Developer (approximately 70% of your time, subject to change based on business needs):<ul><li>
Building, redesigning, and/or updating SCORM compliant courses using course authoring tools, primarily Storyline 360, RISE, and other platforms (e.g., HeyGen) that use AI to generate content and course videos</li><li>
Refining and building new supportive course development project processes and course templates
</li><li>Creating multimedia, visual/graphic design, and interactive course solutions</li><li>
Supporting audio production, producing videos, and editing audio/video for course development
</li><li>Collaborating with instructional designer on the vision for eLearning courses and providing compelling learning experiences and outcomes</li><li>
Performing quality assurance (QA) and testing of courses prior to their release</li><li>
Collaborating with LMS administrator on testing, publishing, and launching of courses on the LMS and ANA website</li></ul>
Both Roles:<ul><li>
Building cross-functional partnerships and working with all project stakeholders internally and externally</li><li>
Continually evaluating user feedback and working to ensure all instructional materials are consistent and up-to-date and redesigning/updating course content when needed
</li><li>Maintaining well organized project documentation and folders with all content and course assets</li><li>
Providing customer support help as needed for member, registration, course, and LMS inquiries</li><li>
Other eLearning instructional design and development responsibilities as deemed necessary for the business</li></ul>
What We Need to See From You 
Candidates for this position must have the following qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience designing eLearning instructional design materials with subject matter experts (approximately ten or more projects annually) and developing eLearning courses (including microlearning) in Storyline 360, RISE, and platforms that provide AI-generated content and course videos (e.g., HeyGen) (approximately ten or more course projects annually)</li><li>
Exceptional knowledge and working experience in the application of adult learning theories and instructional design approaches in eLearning courses</li><li>
Excellent communication (written, verbal, interpersonal) and collaboration skills &ndash; with the ability to provide thoughtful and logical feedback to subject matter experts</li><li>
Ability to write effective copy and instructional text with proven grammar and editing capabilities</li><li>
Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in PowerPoint &ndash; you should be a super user.</li><li>
Strong multimedia skills, specifically visual/graphic design skills and audio/video development and editing capabilities &ndash; to enhance the learning experience &ndash; a must have!</li><li>
Strong attention to detail
</li><li>Excellent project management and time-management skills &ndash; must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time</li><li>

Position Summary 
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable and Payroll Coordinator to join our Finance team. This role reports to the SVP/VP of Accounting &amp; Finance and is responsible for processing vendor invoices, assisting with bi-weekly payroll, and supporting the finance team with routine tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to details, good organizational skills, and experience with both accounts payable and payroll systems. This is a hands-on, transactional role that supports the broader Accounting and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate financial operations. This role plays a critical part in keeping the department running smoothly by ensuring accurate data entry, timely processing, and proper documentation of financial transactions.
 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Accounts Payable:<ul><li>
Review and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.</li><li>
Ensure proper approvals and account coding for each invoice.</li><li>
Confirm invoice accuracy, including math checks and alignment with agreed terms.</li><li>
Prepare and process weekly payments via check, ACH, or wire.
</li><li>Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure documentation for all transactions is complete and audit ready.</li><li>
Reconcile AP activity and assist with month-end close processes.</li><li>
Support year-end 1099 preparation and submission.
</li></ul>Payroll (bi-weekly):<ul><li>
Prepare and submit payroll for processing via Paychex for approximately 180 employees.
</li><li>Enter and review time, compensation changes, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.</li><li>
Coordinate with HR to verify new hires, terminations, and employee updates.</li><li>
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and application laws.
</li><li>Maintain payroll records and assist with year-end W-2 review and distribution.
</li><li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.</li></ul>
General Accounting Support:<ul><li>
Maintain organized documentation for both AP and payroll records.
</li><li>Assist with audit requests and other reporting as required.</li><li>
Perform other accounting-related tasks as directed by the finance team.</li></ul>
Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree in accounting or a closely related discipline.
</li><li>2-3 years of experience in an accounting support role preferred (accounts payable and/or payroll).
</li><li>Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., SAGE Intacct) and payroll platforms (e.g. Paychex).</li><li>
Strong excel and data entry skills.</li><li>
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>
Confidentiality and professionalism in handling employee and financial data.</li><li>
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
</li></ul>Preferred Attributes:<ul><li>
Willingness to learn and support various tasks as part of a small, collaborative team.</li><li>
Familiarity with 1099 and W-2 processes is a plus, though not required</li><li>
