Job Summary: 
The Student Clerical Assistant provides part-time administrative and clerical support to the office team. This position is intended for a student worker and is limited to office-based duties. The employee will assist with basic clerical tasks, document organization, data entry, filing, scanning, and other administrative support as assigned. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>
Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents.
</li><li>
Perform basic data entry and update records as directed.
</li><li>
Sort, label, and organize paperwork, office supplies, and related materials.
</li><li>
Answer or route basic internal questions to the appropriate employee.
</li><li>
Assist with preparing packets, forms, labels, and other office materials.
</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized office workspace.
</li><li>
Perform other clerical or administrative duties as assigned.</li></ul> 


Job Restrictions: 
This position is limited to clerical and office-based work only. The employee may not operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, power-driven machinery, or similar equipment. The employee may not perform warehouse, loading, unloading, manufacturing, construction, or other prohibited duties. 


Qualifications:
<ul><li>
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
</li><li>
Must provide required employment documentation and any required minor employment certificate or work permit.
</li><li>
Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed.
</li><li>
Basic organizational skills and attention to detail.
</li><li>
Basic computer or office equipment skills preferred but not required.
</li><li>
Dependable, professional, and willing to learn.</li></ul> 


Work Schedule: 
This is a part-time position. Hours and schedule may vary based on business needs, school schedule, and applicable minor labor law restrictions. 


Compensation and Benefits: 
This is a part-time, non-exempt position paid on an hourly basis. This position is not eligible for company benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement benefits, or other employee benefit programs, unless otherwise required by law or company policy. 


Work Environment: 
Work is performed in an office or administrative setting. The position requires basic clerical work and may include sitting, standing, walking, filing, scanning, and using standard office equipment.</div>
