The Job Mission
This role is key to supporting Assystem&rsquo;s growth in the Middle East and Central Asia. You will lead nuclear offers and bids to support new LNPP programmes. You will deliver projects as part of our consulting and Owner Engineer missions.
Responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Leading the preparation and delivery of bids in line with Assystem&rsquo;s bid process.</li><li>
Acting as the main customer contact for bids and projects under responsibility.</li><li>
Managing delivery teams and overseeing project performance and results.</li><li>
Establishing and maintaining a strong culture of safety across all activities.</li><li>
Ensuring project Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.</li><li>
Supervising project management activities on behalf of the Owner.</li><li>
Supporting the development of Owner Integrated Management Systems and PMOs.</li><li>
Reviewing vendors&rsquo; offers, licensing, and design documentation for nuclear projects.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
Essential skills:<ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree (or equivalent) in engineering.</li><li>
Extensive experience in nuclear project or programme management.</li><li>
Direct experience with LNPP construction projects.</li><li>
Strong leadership and team management abilities.</li><li>
Proven negotiation and client relationship skills.</li><li>

Job Description 
The document controller is responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents. He/She controls the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects or departments

Initiating Workflows (for documents review purposes) in document management software</li><li>
Distributing documents to the team for review under document management software and follow-up until completed and returned to the author for modification</li><li>
Reviewing document formatting and conformity to document management requirements, if requested transfer existing document in the applicable format</li><li>
Reporting document review progress, generating document status reports for the team as per the document management system requirements</li><li>
Archiving documents (including emails and attachments, correspondence &hellip; if applicable) according document management system requirements, maintaining the archive system</li><li>
Issuing controlled copies of information (review sheet, approved document or others documents) per document management system requirements</li><li>
Numbering, filing, archiving of meeting agendas and meeting minutes</li><li>
Assisting in preparing presentations, daily reports, weekly, monthly reports and printing documents</li>
Assisting in project tendering such as issuing EOI &amp; invitation to bid letters, coordinating with participated bidders, issuing tender packages &amp; related clarifications to bidders, issuing time extension letters, receiving bids, attending bid opening meetings and making meeting minutes for circulation

Job Description 
Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer provides assurance that the quality management system is adequate, effectively implemented and enables the delivery of expected results. This provides assurance that requirements are met to achieve the effective and efficient delivery of the Client mission at best value, as well as identifying improvements and facilitate the delivery of quality improvements to deliver sustained benefit. 
To plan, evaluate, verify, and certify quality, proposing and embedding improvements where necessary to ensure delivery is effective, minimizes the cost and/or consequence of failure and meets stakeholder and/or project specifications and requirements.
Deploying quality assurance and control activities to support right first-time delivery for their area. Deploying quality improvement plans in accordance with relevant objectives. Using, capturing, and sharing learning from experience to support improvement in quality performance within the Client. 
Technical Duties:
Establishing Management Systems<ul><li>
Develop, maintain, improve and provide coaching on the use of local management systems to enable effective delivery</li><li>
Verifying that quality requirements are adequately specified and complied with at a project, facility/operations level, within the Client and in the supplier chain</li></ul>
Planning for quality<ul><li>
Interface and engage with key stakeholders to promote a joined-up approach to quality and safety across Client</li><li>
Assess the ability of suppliers to meet specified requirements and participate in Evaluation Boards as necessary</li><li>
Engage with relevant disciplines / functions to translate requirements and expectations, taking consideration of risks and opportunities and learning from experience (LFE); contribute to supplier opening up meeting</li><li>
Work collaboratively with integrated teams to prepare and implement quality plans and inspection plans, including co-ordination of surveillances required to monitor quality standards in line with specifications</li><li>
Review and accept relevant documentation including supply chain quality submissions</li><li>
Define quality and lifetime record strategies for a project, operation, activity or contract to ensure a demonstrable audit trail that the product/service meets the required specifications</li><li>
Promote the Client Quality Policy and support the development of healthy quality culture. This includes Right First-Time delivery and ownership of quality in the line, so that quality is understood to be a critical enabler to energy safety, environment and good overall operational delivery</li><li>
Assist in the delivery of the appropriate energy safety training where required</li></ul> 
Establishing Management Systems<ul><li>
Develop, maintain, improve and provide coaching on the use of &ndash; local management systems to enable effective delivery</li><li>

Applying quality assurance and control<ul><li>
Define and implement QA/QC activities (including measuring, monitoring, verification, validation, and certification) to deliver the expected results</li><li>
Provide coaching on quality tools and practices to guide others on how to achieve the best outcome and achieve right first time</li><li>
Analyse QA/QC outputs (e.g. using appropriate statistical techniques and root cause analysis) to determine products or services conform to requirements; engage with integrated teams to determine potential solutions</li><li>
Liaise with the quality control and technical service providers to deliver objectives</li><li>
Communicate quality performance to line management to enable effective decisions and appropriate mitigating actions</li></ul> 
Monitoring, measuring, auditing, and reviewing<ul><li>
Assist in development and implementation of the audit / assurance and surveillance programme; take responsibility for planning and carrying out assessments for their area</li><li>
Test that specification requirements are accurately cascaded within the appropriate area of the business e.g. projects or operations and the associated supply chain</li><li>
Use and develop appropriate tools and techniques (including key performance indicators/ dashboards) to monitor quality performance and measure processes effectiveness</li><li>
Provide oversight and assurance of the quality management system, including advice to users on quality matters</li><li>
Support the Head of Division with facilitation of 3rd party and Certification audits</li></ul> 
Driving continuous improvement<ul><li>
Identify, capture, and share LFE and best practice to promote continual improvement of Quality Performance</li><li>
Apply improvement tools and techniques, and structured methodologies to analyse problems and implement solutions to provide benefits to the business</li><li>
Investigate quality related concerns and events, and identify appropriate corrective/ preventive action, escalating quality issues to management</li><li>
Identify and implement quality improvements and influence management to implement changes</li><li>
Promote and monitor the close out of actions taken to address performance gaps and evaluate effectiveness of change/ improvement</li></ul> 
Reporting<ul><li>
Prepare the Quality Management Department's progress reports in a timely and accurate manner</li><li>
Support in the communication of periodical progress reports to the Division Head in order to keep top management informed about the status of various projects in all sites and to facilitate decision making</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
5- 8 years of quality management experience (5 years in an Operational or Project within energy). 
Academic Certificate:
Minimum: CQI Diploma (Level 5) or international equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or physical sciences disciplines related to Quality Management OR professional qualification
Lower-level qualifications MAY be considered and accepted for candidates with substantial professional work experience in quality related roles. 
Courses Certificates:
Minimum: Qualified internal QA auditor
Preferred:<ul><li>
ISO 9001:2015 Qualified Lead Auditor</li><li>
Membership of the CQI or other relevant professional body (i.e. ASQ)</li></ul> 
Additional Information 
 **Security clearance** 
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. 
 
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.<div></div>
