Job Title: Solar Panel Installer (Solar Technician)Job Purpose:To install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems on homes, businesses, or other buildings to ensure they work safely and efficiently. Skills and Qualifications:Basic electrical or construction knowledgeSolar installation training or certificationAbility to work safely at heights and outdoorsProblem-solving and teamwork skills Physical Requirements:Ability to lift panels and equipmentComfortable working on roofs and in different weather conditions Main Parts Included in a Solar Panel SystemSolar Panels (PV Modules)Capture sunlight and turn it into electricity (DC power).InverterConverts DC power from the panels into AC power (the kind used in homes and businesses).Holds the solar panels in place on the roof or ground.Wiring and CablesConnect panels to the inverter and to your electrical system.Combiner Box / Junction BoxCombines electrical connections safely from multiple panels.Electrical Safety DevicesCircuit breakers, fuses, disconnect switches, earthing (grounding) systems.
