Position Overview:
Astound Broadband is currently searching for an Implementation Project Manager in our Illinois market. This position is responsible for assisting the experienced Implementation Project Managers (IPM&rsquo;s) with completion of the internal tasks related to service delivery. This position will have some customer contact, but will more often work with internal teams; both within the IPM department, and with other departments that are part of the service delivery system.

The primary position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Assist the IPM team by completing tasks including:</li>
<li>Onboarding new orders</li>
<li>Order assignment</li>
<li>Submitting documentation for approval of capital funding</li>
<li>Completing the internal paperwork required to close out projects</li>
<li>Prepare documents using specific templates that may be required for customer notifications, or for internal distribution to communicate details about a specific order</li>
<li>Conduct research on existing customer services</li>
<li>Submit tickets for completion of tasks</li>
<li>Review data in the CRM and other systems</li>
<li>Learn how to use various software applications used by the IPM team, in addition to MS Office and Google Workspace apps</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Our ideal candidate will possess:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>3+ years of equivalent, relevant work experience</li>
<li>Previous experience in telecommunications sales support, order fulfillment or customer facing role, is preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of CRM and/or project management software, is preferred</li>
<li>Ability to communicate by telephone, correspondence, and in person</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively and professionally</li>
<li>Basic mathematics techniques</li>
<li>Ability to conduct occasional site visits within IL state up to 5% of the time, requiring limited travel, standing and walking</li>
<li>Ability to sit for extended periods</li>
<li>Ability to operate standard office equipment, to include personal computer, telephone, and other office machines</li>
</ul>

The base salary range in Illinois for this position is $62,000 - $96,000.00 per year plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Illinois and may not be applicable to other locations.

Job Summary

The Channel Offer Manager plays a pivotal role within the Offer Management team, contributing to the daily operations and overall mission of Astound Broadband. Responsibilities include acknowledging and responding to customer inquiries, developing quotes and offers, and supporting sales efforts through contract creation and customer support. 


Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Quoting/Offer Development
<ul><li>Evaluation and assessment, as to bid or no-bid, of wholesale opportunities.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><ul><li>Collaborate with SEs and Sales as needed to create tailored solutions to our customer&rsquo;s needs.</li>
<li>Create Quote documents and/or fill out RFP/RFQs.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Sales Support
<ul><li>Supports Channel team with Creating and Reviewing Contracts, ASRs and PONs.</li>
<li>Responds to customers on Installs, Changes (Renewals/upgrades/etc) and Disconnects. Hands off to Implementation, Sales and Account management as needed.</li>
</ul></li><li>Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the Channel Offer Manager team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals:
<ul><li>Serve as a subject matter expert and provide thought leadership on industry trends and best practices.</li>
<li>Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience</li>
</ul></li><li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Requirements/Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Experience:
<ul><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience as an Offer Manager or similar role</li>
<li>Minimum 8 years of wholesale/carrier and alternate channel sales experience in the telecommunications industry.</li>
<li>Proven track record of success in strategic sales planning, business development, and revenue growth.</li>
<li>Sales training experience - technical and process</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of telecommunications products, services, and industry trends.</li>
<li>Operational understanding of industry standard telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes</li>
<li>Working knowledge of general marketing principle tools and processes</li>
</ul>
