This is a local, in-home field role requiring daily travel to customer residences &ndash; not Remote.
Pay Rate: $20.05 hourly + mileage reimbursement + phone stipend + sales commission
Part-Time Schedule: 5 evenings/week &ndash; Hours: 4:05pm to 9:00pm
About the Role: We&rsquo;re looking for In-Home Sales &amp; Tech Support to work during our busiest hours. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone starting their career, who enjoys talking to people and wants hands-on sales experience.
Here&rsquo;s what you can expect to do: As In-Home Sales &amp; Tech Support, you&rsquo;ll be on the front lines helping customers through our Serve, Solve, Sell&trade; approach. You&rsquo;ll start with paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field.
You&rsquo;ll learn our products and gain hands-on sales experience while building skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving. Ongoing coaching and mentoring will support your growth and help you stay confident and tech-savvy.

Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are. Asurion will pre-schedule customer interactions, so you have the opportunity to effectively meet and surpass your sales targets.</li><li>

Leverage Asurion&rsquo;s growing range of products to offer tailored solutions to customers.</li><li>

You&rsquo;ll use strong negotiation and communications skills &ndash; you know how to make a smooth pivot, and are highly motivated to get it right and make the appropriate sale</li></ul></li></ul>

<ul><li>Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets</li><li>
A valid driver&rsquo;s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year driving experience</li><li>
Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan)</li><li>
A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Customer service appointments are located in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse. The maximum expected travel distance is 120 miles, one-way.</li><li>
Work a varied 5-day week schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline &ndash;this will include evenings, weekends and holidays</li><li>

Must be comfortable working around household pets</li><li>

As a Technical Support &amp; Sales Representative, here&rsquo;s what you can expect to do: 
<ul><li>Evaluate and troubleshoot with customer concerns</li></ul>
o Identify technical issues, deploy solutions with efficient, clear, courteous, and accurate communication 
<ul><li>Utilize call center technology to solution, input, track, and report customer issues</li><li>Meet goals and grow from feedback and coaching</li></ul>
o 3-4 weeks of in class training, additional 2-4 weeks of floor training directly paired with peers 
<ul><li>Sell Asurion smart home and other products on every call</li></ul>

<ul><li>Spending 4-8 hours daily working at a computer in a call center environment (high noise levels, using headset 90% of the time)</li><li>When needed, escalate calls appropriately</li></ul>

Position Overview
As a Staff Data Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality data pipelines that power analytics and reporting across the enterprise. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with technical leadership, driving best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and data modeling.
You will play a critical role in building and optimizing data solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, cloud-native technologies (AWS), ensuring reliable and efficient movement of data from source systems to curated data assets. This position focuses on delivering well-structured, trusted data through robust pipeline development and modern data engineering practices. You will also leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, validation, and documentation.<div></div>
