<div></div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Working as a Human Resource Director at the AT&amp;T Hotel and Conference Center, you will support numerous Human Resource functions to meet strategic, tactical and administrative Human Resource objectives. You must be able to communicate effectively with Senior Management and across various support departments. Your knowledge of employee relations and your strong analytical ability will be used to support HR initiatives.</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></h2><ul><li>
Ensures all Company HR related policies are applied consistently.</li><li>
Objectively coaches associates and management through complex and difficult issues. Provides guidance to management on appropriate disciplinary action. Assists with on-site investigations.</li><li>
Oversees PeopleHub and Employee Central for all recruitment and onboarding.</li><li>
Manage recruitment processes to company standards including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, posting all open positions on Company Careers site and a third-party site, for both salaried and hourly and making sure Managers are compliant with the interviewing process. Partnering with Corporate recruitment team to post and edit requisitions</li><li>
Ensure all pre-hire paperwork is processed in a timely manner, including but not limited to background checks, offer letters, and WOTC.</li><li>
Lead onboarding experience for all new hires (in-person), assist in filling out all new hire onboarding paperwork and policies sign-offs, including job description and grooming standards.</li><li>
Responsible for creating and maintaining employee files up-to-date and compliant</li><li>
Be compliant with I-9 regulations and ensure all new hires are processed on day 1 of employment</li><li>
Maintains and coordinates associate recognition programs.</li><li>
Serve as Platinum Service Champion in accordance with attached guidelines. Become certified in and deliver Platinum Service training programs at time of orientation and for recertification</li><li>
Lead with empathy &amp; good judgment to make decisions that will support associates, leaders, and the asset; Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make timely decisions; constantly look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.</li><li>
Be a champion of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the day-to-day operation of all employees, providing support and understanding</li><li>
Executive Committee team member, act as a thought partner in making decisions surrounding accountability, fairness, and consistency in the workplace</li><li>
Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws.</li><li>
Regularly runs and/or reviews HR activity reports.</li><li>
Supports internal customer survey and associate engagement survey interpretation/feedback process.</li><li>
Attends department manager meetings to increase HR visibility, conducts classroom training, provides assistance and implements HR initiatives.</li><li>
Reviews any request for pay increases or other status changes to ensure internal equity and consistency. Processes status change forms.</li><li>
Prepares, coordinates and presents HR related topics and other HR related training.</li><li>
Acts as the diversity champion by leading assigned tasks and corporate diversity activities including diversity recruiting, retention and promotion goals.</li><li>
Assists in the creation of Personal Development Plans, as appropriate, for associates.</li><li>
Participates in the Annual Performance Appraisal process.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></h2><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in HR or related field required; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>
PHR or SPHR designation strongly preferred.</li><li>
Three plus years human resources generalist experience required; management experience a plus.</li><li>
HR experience at a large, multi-unit organization required.</li><li>
Human Resources management in a union environment is required.</li><li>
Previous experience as part of a centralized HR environment, preferably in a corporate setting.</li><li>
Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills; advanced skills preferred.</li><li>
Content-knowledge regarding employment law, policies, procedures, and programs</li><li>
Experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions</li><li>
Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.</li><li>
Strong presentation skills required.</li></ul><div><br>
