 Assist in fabrication of parts.
 
 
 
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Produce quality welds to complete fabrication process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Levels, scrapes, and finishes edges or surfaces using hand scrapper
 </li>
 <li>
 Adjusts valves to obtain flame of specified size and color and adjusts arc welding equipment to obtain specified size arc, under strict supervision
 </li>
 <li>
 Obtain accurate amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse on welding unit
 </li>
 <li>
 Cleans weld joint
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to meet established deadlines
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 One-year experience working in some of production of fabrication facility desired
 </li>
 <li>
 Good amount of general mechanical aptitude
 </li>
 <li>
 General knowledge of machines and tools used in manufacturing and /or mechanical shops
 </li>
 <li>
 Position requires a great deal of arm-hand steadiness and manual dexterity, including hand, arm, and finger
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to hand and interpret linear tape measure
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to follow verbal instructions

 EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
 
 
 
 1 year welding experience preferred.
 
 
 
 Language Skills
 
 
 
 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
