We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Mechanical Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance Team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for properly maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the Club&rsquo;s mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation and safety. Your expertise will help uphold the high standards of our facilities and contribute to the seamless experience our Members enjoy daily.Atlantic Beach Country Club is a vibrant, Member-owned private Club nestled on a stunning 170-acre property in the heart of Atlantic Beach. Our Club offers world-class amenities, including an 18-hole championship golf course, a state-of-the-art fitness center, tennis + pickleball complex, and well-appointed social spaces, all of which are maintained at a very high standard.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment such as HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, and plumbing fixtures, ensuring systems and surrounding work areas are kept clean and free of debris.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools ensure proper functioning of components while maintaining organized and clean equipment and service areas.</li><li>Repair or replace faulty mechanical parts promptly to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards, ensuring all serviced systems are left clean and properly maintained after work is completed.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of mechanical rooms, equipment spaces, and systems as part of routine maintenance responsibilities.</li><li>Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports for future reference and compliance purposes.</li><li>Collaborate with other Facilities Maintenance Team Members to coordinate repairs and upgrades across various facility systems while maintaining orderly and well-kept mechanical areas.</li><li>Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and others on site and maintain a clean, safe working environment.</li><li>Assist in the installation of new mechanical equipment as needed, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines and ensuring newly installed systems and work areas are clean and properly organized.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in mechanical systems, HVAC, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.</li><li>Preferred but not required: Current HVAC Certifications</li><li>Commercial Kitchen experience with specific background knowledge on Ice Machines and Walk-In/Reach-In Coolers</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>3 &ndash; 5 years&rsquo; experience in maintaining commercial or recreational facility systems, with a strong focus on mechanical components (HVAC, refrigeration, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, plumbing, and related mechanical components.</li><li>Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with Members, Team Members, and vendors.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a Team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain clean, organized mechanical rooms, workspaces, and equipment.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.</li></ul>Join us in delivering exceptional service through expert maintenance that keeps our facilities running smoothly!
