<div><p>Responsible for operating the organization's central switchboard to answer and route incoming calls, effectively communicating various announcements. Maintains the organizational call directory and updates records of toll charges on various calls. May perform clerical tasks like mail or message distribution and processing.<br>

1. Performs screening tests and reports results.

2. Assembles equipment, such as tourniquet, needles, disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices, gauze, cotton, and alcohol on work tray, according to requirements for specified tests or procedures.

3. Verifies or records identity of patient or donor and converses with patient or donor to allay fear of procedure.

4. Applies tourniquet to arm, locates accessible vein, swabs puncture area with antiseptic, and inserts needle into vein to draw blood into collection tube or bag.

5. Withdraws needle, applies treatment to puncture site, and labels and stores blood container for subsequent processing.

7. Conducts interviews, takes vital signs, and draws and tests blood samples to screen donors at blood bank.
