Supervise and guide students as they complete tasks, fostering the development of a strong work ethic and professional skills</div></li><li><div>
Help to maintain discipline that is aligned with Atlas protocol under supervision of the Skilled Trades Lab Teacher</div></li><li><div>
Assist the Skilled Trades Lab Teacher with:</div><ul><li><div>
Daily planning of construction class projects and related instruction</div></li><li><div>
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment</div></li><li><div>
Breaking down competencies, tasks and projects for diverse learners</div></li><li><div>
Submitting class attendance
</div></li><li><div>Accommodating the special needs of individual students as needed</div></li><li><div>
Classroom coverage when the Trades Lab teacher is out for the day</div></li></ul></li><li><div>
Fulfill AM and PM duties involving student arrival and departure, transitions between class periods, and lunch periods as assigned

Required Qualifications</i></div></div><ul><li><div>
High School Diploma or equivalent
</div></li><li><div>Ability to successfully pass all required background screening pursuant to CRS &sect; 22-30.5-110.7</div></li><li><div>
Must have a valid Colorado driver's license and be willing to complete various errands for supplies
</div></li><li><div>Possess at least 2 years of professional-level skills in carpentry, electrical, drywall, and other construction related fields</div></li><li><div>
Be 100% committed to creating a rigorous, nurturing, and joyful educational experience for a diverse group of students</div></li></ul><div><div><i>

Bilingual; Spanish &amp; English</div></li><li><div>
Previous experience with substitute teaching

Prolonged periods of standing and working with power tools and other related equipment (indoors and outdoors)</div></li><li><div>
Must be able to lift or carry burdens weighing up to 50 lbs. and push/pull burdens weighing 100 lbs.</div></li><li><div>
Must be able to perform activities involving sitting, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling/bending, crouching/squatting, crawling, twisting, and reaching utilizing a ladder or a lift</div></li><li><div>
Must be able to work with hands above shoulder height, carrying weight</div></li><li><div>
Must be able to abide by all policies and procedures of Atlas Schools</div></li></ul><div><div><i>
