We are seeking a CMT Technician to join our Houston, Tx team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
<ul><li>Driving to and from job sites</li>
<li>Collection of samples</li>
<li>Observations</li>
<li>Perform quality assurance tests</li>
<li>Preparation and submission of daily reports</li>
<li>Interaction with clients, contractors and other design professionals</li>
</ul>
Minimum requirements:
<ul><li>3+ years experience working in the construction industry</li>
<li>Experience reading and comprehending plans, specifications and test procedures</li>
<li>Working knowledge of concrete, soils, base and asphalt pavements</li>
<li>Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license</li>
<li>Must be able to complete electronic reports us an on-line database system in the field on a daily basis.</li>
</ul>
Technical requirements:
<ul><li>Currently have or able to obtain or already have Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I</li>
<li>Currently have or able to obtain SB-102 and HMAC 1B Certifications.</li>
<li>Any other certifications are a plus (i.e. SB101, SB102, ACI-Strength, 1A, 1B)</li>
</ul>
Other miscellaneous qualities:
<ul><li>Ability to travel 20% of the time</li>
<li>Ability to obtain missing certification within 6 month of hire</li>
<li>Ability to use and navigate SiteManager is a plus.</li>
