Primary Duties<br>
<br>
1.Works with vendors and supervisors and may order hardware including laptops, desktops, MDTs, VDI environments, printers, mobile mounting equipment, modems, antennas, and network equipment for employees in a geographical region or corporate locations.<br>
<br>
2.Identifies requirements for computer images and configurations to maximize productivity and reliability. May assist in the design, testing, and implementation of standard images.<br>
<br>
3.Provides project management on software/hardware upgrades and enhancements.<br>
<br>
4. Logs, troubleshoots, updates and follows through on incidents and requests, including incidents that are escalated, until final resolution is reached.<br>
<br>
5.May establish and or maintain wireless communications for field users including WMR, Handheld devices and Modems.<br>
<br>
6.Uses Software management tools to update and deliver software applications to field computer. Maintains security and encryption software.<br>
<br>
7.Participates on teams with other divisions or Shared Services to evaluate, deploy and support enterprise solutions.<br>
<br>
8.Acts as a liaison with end users to keep them advised regarding upcoming technology changes and strategies.<br>
<br>
9.Coordinates and assists with maintaining an inventory of company IT assets.<br>
<br>
10.May support telecom equipment including, phone systems and patch panel facilities in field offices and corporate offices.<br>
<br>
11.Assists in the implementation, testing, and configuration of corporate hardware and software computer systems.<br>
<br>
12.Evaluates, analyzes and resolves problems associated with maintaining high availability levels of hardware, laptops, tablets and, computer software to maintain enterprise standards.<br>
<br>
13.Coordinates with vendors or contractors to ensure proper implementation of hardware, related systems and, infrastructure.<br>
<br>
14.Keeps abreast of technology changes and makes recommendations on technical changes, training and, adoption rates to improve operating efficiencies.<br>
<br>
15.Provides training to field and corporate offices on desktops, laptops, Tablets, and basic software functionality.<br>
<br>
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS &amp; SKILLS<br>
<br>
Education/Experience Level:<br>
<br>
1. Bachelor's degree in IT and two years related experience; or<br>
<br>
2. A general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and four years related experience.<br>
<br>
3. Valid driver's license.<br>
<br>
Communication Skills:<br>
<br>
Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information on technical concepts to individuals with experience or knowledge of the technical area.<br>
<br>
Number Skills:<br>
<br>
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and comparisons.<br>
<br>
Computer Skills:<br>
<br>
Requires knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and/or graphics.<br>
<br>
Physical Demands:<br>
<br>
Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds from the ground to 34 inches. (Ex: lifting and carrying servers and equipment).<br>
<br>
Ability to lift 20 pounds from the ground to 72 inches. (Ex: lifting monitors and equipment to storage). Ability to lift 25 pounds from the ground to 57 inches. (Ex: lifting batteries and equipment).<br>
<br>
Ability to ascend/descend 3 rungs on a ladder.<br>
<br>
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.<br>
<br>
Work Conditions:<br>
<br>
Works in an indoor environment. Travel is required.<br>
<br>
Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting objects up to 100 pounds (e.g. moving telephone and workstation equipment).<br>
