As a per diem registered nurse at Atria, you will be providing personalized, exceptional health care to our members, both pediatric and adult.
 
 
About The Role:<ul>
<li>
Partner with Atria physicians and nurse practitioners to provide preventive, primary and urgent care to members in their homes within the Southern Florida region</li>
<li>Provide highly personalized nursing care activities for both adult and pediatric patients developing strong relationships with members</li>
<li>Perform minor procedures, such as vaccinations, phlebotomy, insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration as prescribed/ordered under a provider&rsquo;s direction.</li>
<li>Perform point-of-care testing in the home such as rapid covid, flu, and strep testing</li>
<li>Perform sample collections and processing utilizing the medical testing machines located at the Palm Beach/Miami office
</li><li>Complete forms and paperwork for members as needed</li>
<li>Flexibility to perform administrative and clerical tasks related to clinical practice such as inventorying medication, ordering supplies, or scheduling visits</li>
<li>Communicating with primary care and specialty clinical staff in a team based model of care</li>
<li>Provide education to members about atria member offerings such as medication kits and tools for telemedicine as well as about care for acute and chronic conditions i.e. anticipatory guidance on wound care</li>
<li>Triage member calls for possible sick visits</li>
<li>Maintenance &amp; upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements and National Certifying Agencies credentials</li>
<li>Documentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for members</li>

Requirements<ul>
<li>
Current FL Registered Nursing License</li>
<li>2+ years&rsquo; experience as a practicing RN with regular experience in phlebotomy and IV placement</li>
<li>BLS certification from the American Heart Association</li>

Specifically, you will:<ul>
<li>Assess a patient&rsquo;s condition to determine the severity of the problem.</li>
<li>Speak with patients to elicit their medical history and learn the details of a patient&rsquo;s ailments.</li>
<li>Perform physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients.</li>
<li>Able to stabilize or attend to the patient&rsquo;s basic needs and refer patients to a specialist, admit, or transfer the patient as necessary.</li>
<li>Able to quickly assess a patient&rsquo;s condition with very little information, make a preliminary diagnosis, and immediately begin treating a patient.</li>
<li>Effectively interacts with diverse cultural backgrounds.</li>
<li>Effectively interacts with a wide range of personality types and ages.</li>
<li>Effectively fills out legal record of treatment and for the benefit of other healthcare professionals.</li>
<li>Promote health education.</li>
<li>Liaising with other medical and non-medical staff in the company to ensure quality treatment and working together as a team.</li>
<li>Be available to respond to request for house calls within a reasonable response time.</li>
<li>Be available to take weekend calls at least once a month</li>
</ul>Requirements<ul><li>Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine</li><li>ACLS certified, PALS certified</li><li>Residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM.</li><li>5 years of emergency room experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with point of care ultrasound and diagnostic testing preferred (e.g. biofire).</li><li>Experience with Athena preferred, but not required.</li><li>Prior concierge medicine experience preferred, but not required.</li></ul></div>
