Attain Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor with a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential counseling services to individuals dealing with substance use disorders, helping them on their journey to recovery. Key Responsibilities:

</ul>Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A Master&rsquo;s degree is preferred.

<li>Licensure: Valid LCDC license in the state of Ohio. (Preferably with QMHS III)
</li>
<li>Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use counseling or related field.
</li>
<li>Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work within a team, and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).</li></ul>

Substance use Counselor (LCDC)

<div>Position Summary:

The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department in all day-to-day operations within Attain Behavioral Health. This role will be a key contributor to recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HR data and reporting, and other general HR duties, along with providing general administrative support to staff and leadership. This position offers professional growth potential as the HR department expands, supporting specialized functions such as recruiting, benefits, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment &amp; Staffing
<ul>
<li>Assist in full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, review resumes for qualification alignments, screen candidates, schedule interviews, facilitate onboarding.</li>
<li>Administer employee benefits (enrollment, changes, terminations) and serve as a benefits point of contact.</li>
<li>Coordinate new hire onboarding, credentialing, and orientation (including background checks, licensure verification/renewal, and required health screenings).</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS system and personnel files.</li>
<li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, PTO and procedures.</li>
</ul>
HR Operations &amp; Compliance
<ul>
<li>Maintain and update applicant tracking utilizing Excel Spreadsheets, ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.</li>
<li>Support compliance with federal/state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEOC) and regulatory requirements relevant to behavioral health (e.g., HIPAA for staff, credential tracking).</li>
<li>Maintain and update HR documents and business trackers.</li>
<li>Track and document compliance items such as certification, continuing education, and licensure renewals for clinical staff.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality of all personnel information and adhere to HIPAA and organizational privacy standards.</li>
<li>Report any concerns or potential policy violations.</li>
<li>Adhere to HR metrics and measurable outcomes</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:

Required:
<ul><li> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)</li></ul>
<ul><li> 1&ndash;3 years of HR experience preferably in healthcare or behavioral health fields.</li></ul>
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li>
<li>High attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong organizational, administrative skills, and ability to work independently.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).</li>
<li>Knowledge of basic employment law and HR best practices. (HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).</li>
<li>Must have driver&rsquo;s license</li>
</ul>
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting HR or compliance in a healthcare or behavioral health organization.</li>
<li>Experience assisting with credentialing or licensure tracking.</li>
<li>Experience with benefits administration and generating HR metrics.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment:
<ul>
<li>Standard office setting within a behavioral health facility or administrative office.</li>
<li>Full-time, typically Monday&ndash;Friday, 8:30 a.m. &ndash; 4:30 p.m.</li>
<li>Occasional travel between sites for staff support or training sessions.</li>
</ul>
