Healthcare is facing a quiet crisis: doctors and nurses are spending more time fighting with keyboards than treating patients. At Attendi, we&rsquo;re building a medical AI copilot to give them their time back. Your Role</b></h4><p>
As a Software Engineer here, you&rsquo;ll own the full stack of the clinician's experience. Our application is scaling rapidly, meaning your day-to-day will be a healthy mix of bulletproofing our architecture and creatively experimenting with the user interface. We&rsquo;re looking for someone who loves the sweet spot between shipping highly reliable code and prototyping new ways to make the product better.</p><p>
You'll collaborate closely with software engineers, UX designers, mobile engineers and product stakeholders.</p><p>
This role bridges design and functionality - helping voice-enable healthcare workflows through intuitive, high-performance interfaces. You will contribute to:</p><ul><li><b>
The Attendi App:</b> Our core full-stack medical copilot application.</li><li><b>
The Attendi Studio:</b> The configuration platform for healthcare organizations to customize the app to their workflows.</li><li><b>
Our Developer Ecosystem:</b> Internal component libraries and open-source projects, including @attendi/speech-service.</li></ul><p></p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What you'll do</b></h4><ul><li><b>
Ship Features for Attendi App &amp; Studio</b> Build and iterate on user-facing capabilities for both our core medical copilot (App) and our enterprise configuration platform (Studio).</li><li><b>
Help with the SPA Migration:</b> Transition these product interfaces from backend-rendered templates to a modern, modular Single Page Application (SPA).</li><li><b>
Frontend Architecture:</b> Expand our component ecosystem using our design system and style guides to keep both apps maintainable as we scale.</li><li><b>
Build an API-First Backend:</b> Refactor our Django codebase to fully decouple it from the view layer, designing clean, performant APIs that power our web SPA, mobile apps, and Studio.</li><li><b>
Scale Async Infrastructure:</b> Optimize our Django + Celery setup to handle the high-throughput, real-time workloads required by our ambient speech-to-text engines.</li></ul><p></p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
You might be a good fit if you</b></h4><ul><li>
Have <b>3+ years of relevant experience</b> as a software engineer, preferably building accessible user interfaces with web technologies</li><li>
Comfortable building UIs in a hybrid setup: for example using Django templates, Vue for larger interactive surfaces, support legacy web component system.</li><li>
Have solid TypeScript experience</li><li>
Have experience with utility-first CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS</li></ul><p></p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Bonus points if you have experience with:</b></h4><ul><li>
Storybook / component-driven development</li><li>
Healthcare, multi-tenant, or regulated data environments</li><li>
Interest in AI-assisted product features (LLM pipelines are part of the app)</li><li>
Have an eye for UX and can put yourself in the shoes of users to create intuitive, high-quality experiences</li><li>
Thrive in dynamic environments and can navigate ambiguity with ease</li><li>
Big fan of automated quality assurance, like e2e testing, SLOs, SLIs</li></ul><p></p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
